http://www.twingalaxies.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6168 For the clicking-impaired: The verified world record at Twin Galaxies and time to beat for the bounty is now at 54 minutes. C'mon Deviance, time to show this guy a thing or two :P

I'd say go for it, Deviance. If you can submit just a 44-minute run, that would be good enough to keep every aspiring speedrunner off that bounty. Pride be the boards!

you're right, it is over, but now I have finals! I'll still have enough time after that to finish this run and send it in on time for the TG bounty. The wait will be worth it I promise.
Don't think I forgot about this, Deviance! You have about 3 more weeks.

Both of the above link are bad. Can you please re-upload the movie file Michael? And is it a emulated input replay file or an actual video? I'd prefer an input replay file.

Nice five years old bump :). The best console run to my knowledge is the SDA run that is 00:43 on the in game timer for 101%. http://speeddemosarchive.com/DonkeyKongCountry.html Tjp, the guy having the other two times there, is going to beat it however and is aiming to get 00:41 or lower. It does seem like you are looking for a TAS instead, in that case you should be looking here: Any%: http://tasvideos.org/1644M.html 101%: http://tasvideos.org/522M.html The 101% run is very improveable, but I have been having problems with that run so it will take awhile before I finish it.

AFAICT isamu is looking for non-tool-assisted runs in the form of emulator input files, which are quite hard to find.

Indeed they are Derakon, indeed they are :( That "Let's see you play something" thread is the closest I've gotten to collecting the few rare non-TAS files. Shame
