Nope, not possible in Lolo 2, if you're talking about Gol's fire. It's possible in Eggerland Episode 0, though...

My first contribution is 3-4 http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/296676277/AdvLolo2-3.fm2 About 142 frames almost 9 steps I was able to find a very efficient way of manipulating Rocky. Besides the initial push downwards it only takes 2 1/2 steps of waiting for Rocky to come back around. I did spend an extra day trying to find a slightly better route, but in the end I use the extra steps to keep Rocky from pausing. The end manuvering saves about 10-16 frames.

Found an improvement in Pro B. Basically a modified more direct route. The start is slower collecting more bullets, but savings accumulate towards the end (it took me a while to realize lolo moves faster after you kill an enemy.) http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/24515954814679701 EDIT: I didin't notice it, but I actually had enough projectiles to save getting 2 heart blocks. It was so obvious I missed it! Now its over 1 second of savings. Now only a few frames away from getting it under 2:03! I have no current ideas for pro D and I can't see how pro C or A could be improved.

Wow it's been almost 3 years since my last post in this thread, it seems like so long ago... Anyway, I'm looking at implementing the known improvements in this run and seeing if I can find any of my own. If anyone is interested feel free to jump in. Right now I'm just working on getting the known improvements all in one file. I saved 32 frames in 2-2, not sure exactly what Nitrodon's improvement was but it's probably that. EDIT: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/47952051421383948 This file contains all the known improvements mentioned above. Now I'll start trying to find some more. EDIT2: Found a pretty big improvement in 8-1. Nothing before that. EDIT3: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/47959562881352562 Here is a file with the new 8-1 and also a bit of cleanup where I missed starting on the correct frame a couple times.

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/47986639364398403 Here is the biggest improvement so far with 284 frames saved in 8-4. This is also about ~150 frames faster then BagOfMagicFood's version from the Eggerland game. EDIT: I added BOMF's 9-3 improvement, run is now submitted.

I am not sure if anything I do in my run might be faster than that TAS, I thought maybe there was a new find or two but I honestly can't remember. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uBzuR2SEDo
