My comments were not intended to 'make fun'. I just think you should be more conscious about some of the choices you make.

Well then, starting on area 3 I am going to give it my all. All of the routes, tricks, and collecting, I am going to try to make those top notch!

Captain Forehead, I just watched the last WIP, I meant to watch it yesterday but I got consumed in EverQuest. I LOVE it! You're making a 100% TAS for this game look easy!

To Kirkq: I knew something was up but I just didn't know what, it seemed weird how the ice bomb can do better things than the regular bomb. I still thought it was funny though. :P To Kitsune: Your comment has made me wanna work harder on this TAS. I swear to myself, I am going to work on it everyday! Even if it is for only a couple of minutes!

Hell, you can make a lot of progress in just a few minutes a day. But really. Keep it up. This is the TAS I'm looking forward too the most. One of my favorite N64 games. :3

Kirkq, up to cool cave already? awesoooomee ;) If you actually do have the run finished by the 1st of april, that would be amazing, tbh I'm really looking forward to seeing the end product! But don't let your great standard of optimisation slide now, you've been doing such a great job so far, it would be a shame to find the last few battles are really sloppy. Also Captain Forehead, overall your 100% run so far looks fantastic, lots of great spots where you are tearing apart the course with lots of bombs and i find myself glancing at the top of the screen to see whether or not you are wearing a fireproof suit XD However, you need to make sure that you are keeping track of your health. You seem to be taking damage almost whenever is convenient and i'm wondering how you are going to get enough to defeat endol quickly. Also in the event where you have to choose between getting a blue/pink crystal and a bomb/firepower (i.e. presuming that it takes the same amount of time to get either one), it will probably be worth your while getting the crystal. Remember, more crystals = more health to abuse later.

You don't need to worry about that. Right now, I have 3 more lives before I die. I seem to remember a bunch of hearts in one of the areas (yet again, I can't remember level names in this game) before I reach Endol. So everything will be fine. ;)

World 1 COMPLETE!!! http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1338679370/BOMBERMAN%20HERO%20%28USA%29.m64 I'm still terribly sorry that I do not know how to encode it. I'll be changing a little something about the WIP's. I feel as if they are too short, so I will be amping them up to TWO areas. And Kirkq, I haven't been taking your critisicm lightly, I will gladly except them and possibly try to improve myself as I go on. Also, I'm thinking of getting all the items in the bonus levels, what do you think?

I watched your WIP last night, but I was too tired to type a comment. We got a new Puppy yesterday and the little bugger is so full of energy she's wearing me out. It's awesome to see the first world complete! I have no doubt you can make World 2 look this great! :3

This is frustrating the hell out of me that I can't watch these. What am I doing wrong? I have the recording Mupen, I have the rom, I download the file and try to play it back while checking "open read-only" and get back "Couldn't start playback." I've tried changing it to a .rec file but then I get an error at the bottom saying that I picked the wrong save problem. Can anyone explain this to me?

are you using the correct plugins?

That might be it. What are the correct plug-ins? Edit: Well I got it to start moving but it's horribly out of sync... Edit 2: I found out I was using the wrong Mupen, but now that I'm using the correct Mupen it freezes a few seconds into the movie.

I use Mupen 64 rerecording v8 available here: http://code.google.com/p/mupen64-rr/downloads/list Video Plugin: Jabo's Direct3D8 1.6 Input Plugin: TAS Input Plugin 0.6 Sound Plugin: Jabo's DirectSound 1.6 RSP Plugin: RSP emulation Plugin You should not have to alter the file Captain Forehead posted. If I had to guess, the problem is the video plugin. Another possible solution may be to go into audio settings and disable 'sync sound'

Before I go on with my TAS, I want to hear your guys opinions on doing the bonus levels, should I?

If you are going to a 100% run, yes if they are necessary. Otherwise, they will be nothing more than a waste of time; be they interesting to watch or not.

Even with it being a 100% run it is a waste of time. There's nothing gained from completing it, and there's no way to even go back and see that you completed it. Not that it wouldn't be fun to watch, but you shouldn't do them.

Don't do bonus levels, this 100% run is best defined by 'things the game keeps track of', as just stated. (I haven't gotten around to watching the new segment, I will eventually.)

I'm just wondering if there's been any progress on the 100% run as of late. :3

So far, I'm halfway through the bubbly place. I got to be honest, I haven't been working on this for almost a week and I don't know why. But I told myself that I'm going to work on it today, and hopefully I will. By the way, how is the any% run coming?
