I'm sorry, I haven't really made that much progress on the run, and who knows if I ever will. I'm a mormon, and in 6 months I'll be 19, which means I will be a missionary for 2 years, it would be amazing if I were able to finish the run by then! But I'll try, I really will.

Hey guys. I know it's been a really long time since anyone has even mentioned anything about a Bomberman TAS, but I assume that work on this had come to a screeching halt during that time. I've been thinking recently about tackling this game once again, but this time, I'm thinking about an any% speed run.

Kirkq said he is about 80% done with the any% TAS of this game and has requested continuance on his mupen version, so I assume he has intentions of completing it.

Oh well. I might just start over on the 100% run then. Don't expect any fast progress as time goes by!

would be nice if people uploaded their WIPs in case they are killed in a horrible accident before completion lol

Just got finished with area 1, and I'm proud to say that I improved my own TAS by a whopping 2 1/2 minutes! I'm feeling pretty good about this run. And I would very much like to hear if Kirkq really is continuing with his old run or not.

Just want to give a small update that after years of putting it off, I have started over on this run and am fully intent on finishing it hopefully sooner rather than later. I have finished World 2 with great progress using Bizhawk 2.8. Hopefully you all won't have to wait too long to watch the finished results.

I had actually wanted to do an any% and even offered to do it a long time ago when we hadn’t heard anything from Kirkq. But I was stopped, being told that he was still working on it. That was 6 years ago. Not sure if it still holds 😂 Also, that was an impressive run you did there. Correct me if I’m wrong, but when you jumped over the barrier, did that give you a slight boost? If so, that was a nice touch.

it appears the only benefit i got was keeping the forward momentum as making curves has a little bit of speed loss here and there, but one of the improvements at the end was making small course corrections and that somehow allowed for a few decimals of a second to be gained
