Lake Orangatanga
Every stage have W-Barrel
Kremwood Forest
Same here. Boss can't shot kongs because i get barrel so fast
Cotton-Top Cove
In Second stage i get damage couple of times because it's faster as wait bee goes away.
In third stage i played last section of stage to jumping on the water, i saved some frames with it.
Mekanos
In first & fourth stage i throw Dixie up to save some frames
Stage three.. this can be looking "little" boring but i abused auto-scroll screen a little to finish stage faster.
K3
in 3 th stage in the end i shooted "web" before sign, becouse Kiddy was able to roll straight way to goal.
Razor Ridge
in stage 1 : i taked damage to save time. When you take DK barrel with squawks it's much faster than using apes to get it.
stage 2 is slow. I tried to make it look fun :)
In stage 4 : I didn't use Ellie & Squitter, i was able to be faster without them.
in boss second turning i went inside a boss with this i got drills doing damage faster on boss.
Kaos Kore
in stage 1 : i used (climbed?) mechanic ropes to save time
in the stage 3 : I manipulated thunder to smash closer to me and i mustn't stop everytime then
Final Boss : i tried to throw barrel(s) to hit boss so fast as possible.

Okay; I admit that I did not get far enough in my run to time if Squitter was faster than the Kongs at that point. You still lost several seconds by scrolling through Wrinkly's dialogue at the beginning instead of just hitting left and leaving before she said one single word. (I'm not trying to insult you by saying this; it's just the sort of feedback that I never received.)

He used a Warp Barrel to skip most of the stage, which resets the time to something ridiculously high (so you can't get an easy win over Brash). In reality, it was a few seconds.

It doesn't seem like this game has a massive amount of randomness - it may be worth a shot to hex-edit this just to see if it would work.

A decent run. I found the warp barrel usage to be tedious to watch but, it makes sense to use them when going for the absolute fastest run (a non-warp barrel run would be nice... atleast one that doesn't just use them to finish the level quickly and not come back... I guess the 105% run would take care of it). Two things: 1. Can you get 105% without doing that TUFSTF (or whatever it was) code? You made it sound like if you just don't collect the midway barrels that you'll get 105%, if that's true I never knew that (and wasn't aware that it was possible). 2. I recall skipping a large section of the opening animation (with Dixie and Kiddy spinning on that wheel) by pressing a button (don't recall which one, sorry, but I think it was either A or start) at the correct frame. I only managed it once or twice but I always tried for it again after I got it to work once. Be sure to check on this before you do your 105% (and, maybe it could be hexedited in).

how do i shot web? *smited* DKC3 is my favourite out of all three DKC games, so I'll take a look at this... Dixie for the win. Downloading. I, too, would like to see a 105%.

Uh. There's a warp barrel in every level? Thanks for reminding me why this one is inferior to DKC2 and DKC1.

Really entertaining movie, nice work.

Yeah, I had a preliminary runthrough a while back before I started on my doomed tool-assisted project. It would have been a no-Warp Barrel run, just because I realized how boring it was to watch that many Warp Barrels in a row. And no, there is not a Warp Barrel in every stage... just every stage in the first two worlds.
