Good? No, but I enjoy playing it. I used to be about on par with my friends (years ago), but then they fully realized their height advantage over me (I'm 5' 6" (167 cm (third set of parenthesis))).

Well, it's tough to get rebounds over people with eight to twelve inches on me :)

I am a "player" in that I understand the premise of the game and, on occasion, I attempt to play against other people in a casual setting. I am, however, easily the worst basketball player on two legs. I'm sure the aforementioned 12 year old would school me.

I'm a buck-forty, so this really isn't my specialty either. Come to think of it, I don't know what my specialty is. My shot is a little off and my dribbling skills are average at best. I suppose I have good awareness of the court and can pass pretty well, but I'm out of practice. For defense, I can stay on my man, but I don't have the height to contest any shots, and I don't have the weight to stop them from going where they want. WHeeee!!

I guess I have to chop one of your legs off cause it's me who is the worst player on two legs. I will not tolerate any competitors!

If your small, just stand back a few feet, then when they start running you can jump in front of them in time. 100 free throws a day will fix your shot!

Let's not argue about this. I'm probably worse. I wouldn't say that I'm necessarily good at anything in basketball. I like to run, and I guard people really closely, but I generally like to have a lot of time to think about what I'm doing and evaluate my choices. That's not something that's really compatible with fast-paced things like sports.

Even at 100 freethrows a day I don't think there would be a very high success rate when you are always flat on your back. It's hard to shoot the ball laying down. And lets not argue about who is worst, I don't think that is what cheeseman was after. If it was, I will gladly join in.

How about starting a club of the worst basketball players? Together, we are a team! Together, we will be able to school cheeseman!

A small group of self-proclaimed worst basketball players getting outscored by a 12-year old. Someday, it will be on YouTube.

Hey, just because I'm 12 doesn't mean it's an amazing thing that I'm good at basketball!

I didn't mean that, I just meant that most of the others that have posted are almost surely older than that. And the snow in my area is finally gone for good (probably (edit: until November)), so I should start working on those free throws ;)

Do you have a high powered scoped rifle and some string to hold the basketball up?

I play, mainly for recreation. I'm about 6ft, so I play SF/PF. I'm not much of a scorer, but my D is above average, and I'm good at boxing out. I don't have much hops either. I'm a huge, huge NBA fan, too.

It depends on if they're over a quarter-mile away.

Yep, Reggie was, and still is one of the best clutch players, ever. My favorite player is Kevin Garnett, but I'm a Warriors fan (12 consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs, OH YEAH!) at heart. Anyone play fantasy sports?
