Dammit, I think you're right! (hee hee) I think it does make sense to leave the Sunsoft levels for a separate submission. There's an ending after the 30 Mayhem levels, and the run is already plenty long at just under 58 minutes. Also, reading through a walkthrough, it doesn't sound like they'd add much that hasn't already been done in this TAS. I'll still take a bit to write the comments and rework a couple levels; if anyone disagrees with leaving off the Sunsoft levels, please weigh in! PS It's taken 5 months, but I'm finally getting sick of this game... E: Moving forward with revisions, as expected this title is pretty splice friendly, though not 100%. Updated strategies and lag reduction (w/o sacrificing entertainment) took 46 seconds off level 1!

Zipping? In Lemmings? Awesome. It was hard to make out, but the lemmings had a bridge built exactly where they were standing, right?

All these new videos are incredible. As for Super Mario 64, Japanese TASers are really a source of good ideas and new techniques. I'd yes vote the hell out of a submission that includes these tricks. It would be faster AND more entertaining than the current one.

I stumbled across LemmingsMaster's channel a while back, and he does have some impressive strategies for stages, including some exploits like the one seen in this video. But I did not expect the Japanese TASers to have a trick like the wall zip. With all these new tricks, its time for an improvement to Lord Tom's run.

What in the world happened on Mayhem17? My Japanese skills aren't good enough to understand the explanation.

Can't wait for a new Lemmings run. One of my favourite games and highly entertaining to watch in my opinion.

Lemmings TAS WIP part 1 (snc76976) Link to video In the video below, the player goes through the floor directly whereas snc76976 went the way around. Is there a special reason for this? Otherwise maybe he should be made aware of this, if it's a mistake. Link to video

The levels look the same but they are not. In the second video you only needed 93% of all the lemmings while you needed all 100% in the other one. IIRC there are a few more levels which differ just by the number of lemmings to be saved

Random idea: a Vs. Lemmings TAS. These two videos are hilarious; I have to wonder what two godlike players could accomplish in terms of perfect play while also having to continually deal with each others' interference...

You could trivially screw the game up by using every tool as quickly as possible, so it'd have to be a showmatch.

Thanks for the links. You mistyped the free video so it linked to something about pokemon instead. Here's the fixed link: Nicovideo (free)
