Well, more people have to sign up then. Come on people, it's only a matter of arranging.

If I win the "Jatkuu" contest in channel 4 with my lego video (which I unlikely do) AND attend this meet (which currently is very uncertain), I can snap few pictures for all of you who are unable to attend it. ;) Damn, that was long sentence. :P
Which run should I encode next? :)

I cant wait to see pics from it. If anyone lives in the states I would love to have one in the US. It seems that most people on this site are from either Finland or other parts of the wetern hemisphere, so Im not sure just how many people would be able to come to one here. If anyone was interested I would love to arrange it. If you guys are looking for a DJ to perform at the one in Finland, I would gladdly come perform and do sound for it (not to mention it would be AWESOME for the promotional video) K (Remixes to old NES and SNES games make great for events like these!)

Probably won't go. I'd maybe go if it was within an hour (or two) of Austin Texas. Maybe just anti-social-ness. But I would love to hear how it went.

Well, not everyone lives in Finland, Giga. I go to Austin from time to time, I'll let you know the next time I'm in town and we can have fun being strangers together :P .

I would suggest some nice popular "summer countries" (no offense to Finland) like Spain, Greece, KINGSTON JAMAICA!
Finland is one of the most beautiful places in the world in summer. Someone has said that it would be a crime to travel abroad from Finland in summer, and I agree.

Except when it's raining heavily for a week straight, of course. But sunny days, it's beautiful ― assuming you don't spend it in the middle of most motorvehicle-infested areas.

I think a simple "meet" is pointless. you need to arrange some sort of event, like a Nesvideos Mario Kart tournament. Then people would be more interested in joining.

I can't arrange anything if people aren't coming. There would be all kinds of gaming tournamets.

Agreed... Even if I do not come, why a gaming tournament... There must be other things to do in Finland...?

Not a bad idea. We could also have everyone to choose a non-starred movie which would be watched and discussed. That's of course if there won't be 50 participants in the meet, it would take way too long to watch everyones wish. I'm starting to get more and more excited about this ;), but still I'm not hundred percent sure wheter I'll be there or not. Convince AngerFist to join and you can count me in as well :P

It'd be nice to meet you guys, but I think I'll pass. I suck at console games (dito tournaments), I don't see a point to meet in real life to discuss movies, I don't speak finnish, and it's somewhat expensive from germany for just one day. I wish you lots of fun though :)

Why are there so many people from Finland, anyway? I didn't think the country was THAT big and crowded.

Aren't the majority of the members here swedish anyways? Or live in the scandinavian quarters at least. :/

I think it's fairly divided between Northern Europe and Northern America. Unfortunately, Northern Europe is nowhere near as big as Northern America, and so gathering everyone in Sweden/Norway/Finland/etc would be 10x than gathering people from Quebec and California. Maybe we should just make a program like goonmap, where users log in to a version of google maps and place themselves on the map. We can then get some accurate readouts on locations and dispersal of nesvideos members.

Ed Zacharry! You should make a topic about the map and have people add themselves all over it.
