They all use steroids to enhance their game performance. This is the steroid league. If you want "natural" competition, go to www.speeddemosarchive.com , but they're just afraid to reach their full potential.
That makes about as much sense as saying that Michael Schumacher is giving himself an unfair advantage over Asafa Powell by using a car.

Asafa Powell is as slow as second fastest human in the world.

TASes are made by designing a program that accepts microphone input. Then you simply talk the computer into making the run for you.
Very informative. Perhaps this should be added to the WhyAndHow page? Also, lollerskates!! That is wonderful.

Yes, good tool-assisted movies cannot be made by just anyone:

It's a massive undertaking to produce a good tool-assisted movie. Sure, anyone can undo when they make a mistake ― but who can spot the error that causes 0.1 seconds of delay in the movie? Who can spot and abuse bugs in games to do seemingly unearthly maneuvers?
However, I think anyone with patience and determination can make a good movie. As experience goes up, it becomes easier to make good movies, and it demystifies how movies are made on this site. Of course, with enough experience, appreciation goes down too.

Indeed... stop being off-topic in the off-topic forum by being on-topic! :)
