i started a speedrun site and uploaded my movies to google and someone tries to steal credits. just want to tell you, because i know you phil and genisto produce videos for this site here and someone abuses your names. here an example: http://video.google.de/videoplay?docid=614176765656851346&hl=de read the comments. these comments are made for any movie from myself. just give you one example only because it is not my intention to make advertising here. why i post here? i just want to inform you about this because it is pretty obvious that it is a member or lurker from here, some kind of fanboy because else he would not write nor know how like bisqwit writes the description of the movies. this is no offend or anything similar, just wanted to inform you about this. thanks for reading. ;)

That is weird. Someone uses the names Phil and Genisto, probably out of spite. That guy has poor spelling. Can't even spell Genisto's username right. It is true that Exilant did not specifically make it clear that it was tool-assisted. The site (speedruns.net) seems to be a pride site for tool-assisted movies.

Spite? No warning? The guy makes clear that the run is made using an emulator, savestates and slowdowns. I'd say he tried to explain it. And I don't really see how spite comes into play. Looks more like a mistake in giving credits then something on purpose. The nick spellingerror is bad though :p

I think I misused the word "spite". It might be a credit mistake. But why would Phil even consider doing a Genesis run? I cannot see anywhere on the page that it is tool-assisted, apart from the mistaken comment. Edit: Oh, you mean the guy that commented.

It's simple. Someone is using Phil's good name to promote their fresh eggs, and that's not right. I bet those eggs aren't even that fresh.
