banshiryuu, great post there. I'm puzzled why is the riff in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAy3nlATLkk exactly like the riff at the start of the wild arms intro song.

Donkey Kong Country's OST must be one of the greatest music in video game history. I love every music in DKC, but my favorite music from each series is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v18pEFQb3EM DKC 1 - Fear Factory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUGU_Zlf9tU DKC 2 - Disco Train http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XAWhFZ5mzI DKC 3 - Rockface Rumble (I excluded Stickerbrush Symphony, we all know that's the best. Anyway, here's a video someone who covers this song)

The Sand Zone music from Cave Story+ and Wii. One of the few new tracks that's actually memorable and well-done. Link to video I still prefer the original game's music though. I thought every track was very catchy and memorable. Not to mention Pixel wrote the program for making the NES-esque music, which makes it even better. And it inspires me, too, since I want to make MIDI or 8-bit sounding music for indie games too someday, and this music sounds like something I would be able to achieve.

I don't know F-Zero's music that well, but I always found Shotgun Kiss to be very nice.

This run of Ao Oni is, while far from perfect, chose to replace the default chase music with this: Link to video

Link to video Actually, I prefer the unedited version, but the sound channels eventually desync, causing a racket.

Hi. I've stumbled upon this video, and I believe the music's from a game. Anyone know which one it may be?

I really like video game musics, specially the soundtrack of Super Metroid. Here is a Super Metroid medley by Virt, called Crystal Flash. Very good!

Splitting Nintendo DS music to separate audio channels. Link to video Could anyone explain how this could be done? It would be quite a useful resource.

Open game in DeSmuME. Go to tools > View Sound State. Disable all but one state. Record the audio for that. Disable that stat and enable the next. Record the audio for that. Repeat.

The DS has hardware-mixed multitracker music instead of normal software-mixed "1-track" (from the hardware's point of view, at least) music?
