Right temperature interpretation The song "right temperature" has... ambiguous... lyrics. Here's one interpretation.

Definitely not crap: nightshader has performed the "party level" theme from Mission Impossible 64. If you remember the song, then you already know why it needed to be performed. Anyone else want to share some non-crappy youtube videos of vg piano?

I have very vague memories of watching that as a child. It's something about Mark Twain wanting to become immortal, or he accidentally became immortal and wanted to die, or something, I don't know, and he wants to merge with a comet. It never made any sense but then again I saw it when I was like 4 or 5.

Still Alive, by Jonathan Coulton, performed by Jarrett Heather: http://youtube.com/watch?v=oFeI7Vo3c4s The mp3 version has much higher quality: http://spaceparanoids.net/music/Jarrett_Heather_-_Still_Alive.mp3

The Matrix Vs. Carl Sagan The scene of Agent Smith interrogating Morpheus, overdubbed with Carl Sagan's lecture about atoms. The funniest part is that it fits quite amazingly. :) REMIX: David Elsewhere Compilation If you're looking for someone who moves really smooth, Dave Elsewhere is your man. Search for other videos on YouTube, they're all pretty amazing (although he doesn't really change his move set much).

Ok, more goodness, now from Shmups forum (probably deserving a separate thread): Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the WiiRemote This is one of the technologies most impressive in their ergonomic simplicity and effectiveness, and the one having immense potential for 3D games, especially first person games. The illusion of depth it creates is far better than what you'd see through anaglyphs or stereograms, and requires none of the effort and eye strain needed for them. Just wonderful.

Wow. I've never played Portal, but that was certifiably uncrappy. Thanks. :)

I searched for "amazing voice" on Youtube, and I found this video. I believe it's from some song contest in Russia. Anyway, if you don't feel like listening to the whole song, fast forward to 1:05 and you'll understand why it's an "amazing voice"...

Just the thought of trying to sing that bit makes my throat hurt.

The game is, like, 40 years old... but people still find useful glitches! And this one is even more bizarre than those in pokemon games... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dmxreEueX0
"Genuine self-esteem, however, consists not of causeless feelings, but of certain knowledge about yourself. It rests on the conviction that you — by your choices, effort and actions — have made yourself into the kind of person able to deal with reality. It is the conviction — based on the evidence of your own volitional functioning — that you are fundamentally able to succeed in life and, therefore, are deserving of that success." - Onkar Ghate

That was cool. For an even higher voice, but which isn't in a song and doesn't sound great, see http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=5846256

That happens any time you fall in a bottomless pit while in the flagpole animation, and it effectively forces you to reset, as there's no way to get out of it. That occurred because the vine glitch teleported him over a bottomless pit. Oddly, this bug has no effect if he falls during the axe animation (Mario doesn't even lose a life).

Even more oddly, it wears off eventually. After a long while, the music and scrolling speed return to normal. After a REALLY LONG while, you'll realize that Mario's Y coordinate has wrapped around as he falls from the top of the screen. XD
