Pyramid II "Special" Power up by 5 and level up every 20 lines (level cap 9) Goes for 9999 lines. Mermaids of Atlantis "Stacked" There is a way to start on 4-5 on stacked. Naturally you start on s-1 on Stacked. First pick a stage before highlighting Stacked. When highlighting Hard, press right and start on the exact same frame.

+1 for seeing a TAS of Star Voyager. I have a love/hate relationship with that game because it was so difficult and annoying, yet the challenge made you come back and try again, kind of like a primitive predecessor of FTL. Even if it only makes the Vault, I don't care. Somebody please make it suffer.

This game is really great, please make a TAS of it, it's call: Phantom Fighter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_Fighter It is about ghosts and demons, you play as a martial arts master and you receive new techniques on each town you visit, I recommend this game. :D

I'd kind of want to see what some better TASer could do with The Terminator! Someone, please, break that game for once and for all...

Classic Concentration has a text parser glitch (similar to [1248] SNES Family Feud "playaround" by Heisanevilgenius in 06:46.71) I guessed Paul McCartney and the game said that I was correct. Game show games are ineligible for the vault, I hope this is worthy for a moon publication.

I'm bewildered that TASVideos doesn't have a run for Dragon Power, which seems like an eminently TASable game that haunted many of our childhoods (so it'd be gratifying to see it dismantled). There's a TAS on YouTube but it uses the Japanese version, which is longer -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wg0ndsgElU -- and I have to believe it could be improved upon massively.

The Contra wrong warp needs to be documented and possibly used. I believe there is more to this. http://www.twitch.tv/dk28/c/5686445

Wow. Let's hope someone could reproduce it for an emulator movie.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

DK28 is playing on console and original cart (is current WR holder for Contra)

That's correct. This literally only happened this one time. Bill froze when the fanfare started, so I didn't know what to do, but I was still holding 'right'. So when I regained control I walked off the edge. Otherwise, I believe you could remain stationary to retain S and R and go on to Base1.

I think it would be nice to see so called "Perfect Run" TAS-videos of the Mega Man games, a la RoahmMythril. Or if you're unable or too lazy to watch the video, the basic jist of it is that you try to complete a stage only using the buster, no charge shots unless absolutely necessary, like knocking over the enemies that become platforms, and without taking damage. (link above goes to the first ever Perfect Run video Roahm did, Cutman and is from 09) While Roahm's videos are entertaining and fun, for a truly perfect run i think we need to TAS it up. Oh and, another youtuber called Kevvl has done the same challenge in the Mega Man X games, so if someone doing the X series wants to do this, it should be possible in those games as well.

I think that may be a neat idea. But I think a TAS of the perfect runs for Megaman would be best done by AltimaMantoid's rules. His "Megaman Mantis-Style" uses RoahmMythril's rules plus the rule that you can't miss. That is, if any shot you fire flies off screen or get's deflected or absorbed by an enemy in it's invincibility frames, that counts as a failure.

I don't have a specific title in mind, but you may want to check out the spreadsheet from the TASMania project http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18578 I would note that the estimates in that sheet were bad and for RTA purposes, but perhaps a look at TMR's NESMania spreadsheet might help you figure out which ones are actually short. Also a look at any RTA records from speedrun.com might be of use.

Having the currently fastest known RTA runs in both Conan: The Mysteries of Time and Stanley: The Search for Dr. Livingston, I'd really love to see a TAS done of either of those. Conan has a lot of mysteries left to solve for a runner. The dragon boss in particular seems to make no sense whatsoever as you aren't able to damage it until... something. No clue really. A lot of weird stuff to manipulate in this game. Stanley on the other hand is a rather unknown exploration game. Putting quite some time into learning the game, I already figured out that you can skip a lot of the intended key items in the game. A TAS might be able to skip even more. There's also walls which block you from progressing. Maybe it's possible to clip through those somehow?

I spent a little time on Conan once because whitehat and m3ntula were asking. Optimizing movement/spawns is a little tricky. I did discover that you can jump off the right side of the screen instead of climbing though. White-hot was also running Stanley, it did seem like it would make for a good tas
