When I did this for college, I was a INFJ (stron I and N, weak F). This one shows me as: INTJ Strength of the preferences % 56 88 12 33 moderately expressed introvert very expressed intuitive personality slightly expressed thinking personality moderately expressed judging personality Now I have to wonder, have I over time switched from Feeling to Thinking, or is it a margin of error kind of thing (ie I'm fairly close to the border, so different tests put me in different categories).

It's a little of both. The test is administered in different ways, so different tests can yield slightly different results. It also kinda depends on what kind of mood you're in when you take them. But people can change over time, too. If a particular trait isn't strongly expressed, then it's not uncommon for different tests to express the other one. It's commonly referred to as "wobbling." (And 12% is not strongly expressed.)
If life were an RPG, I'd be an NPC.
