Uh, that's not a crappy law. That's called assault.
I think it's saying that it's illegal to burn a wooden leg of a wooden-legged man, both when the man is wearing it, and when he's not wearing it. You can't burn a wooden leg, even if the person is not currently wearing it, just to piss him off or something.

Its still funny that it got a law written for it specificly. And in massachusetts, its illegal to shoot a whale from a moving car.

Can you shoot a whale from a parked car?

Oh. I thought it was like in New Hampshire, where it's legal to build a boat out of rocket fuel. It doesn't have a specific law, but it's a loophole in the law. I thought it was something like that.

It makes you wonder. I would be impressed if you could get within fireing range of a whale while still inside a car, moving or otherwise.

Seriously, what do you think is the rationale behind this one? And why the hell do they need a prohibition against hunting whales in a state that is landlocked!? ...Oh, look at that.

Where I live, it's illegal to murder someone period. I guess that makes sense, though, so it doesn't count.

Here's another one ... http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=42071 It's not a law yet, but if it is, then it's really stupid. Basically, the German goverment could be allowed to send trojan horses through email to suspected terrorists. ... if they're terrorists, won't they have some sort of hyper-secured computer or something? Like ... at least 1 antivirus, at least 1 firewall ... How in the world can they really expect terrorists to click and open a file in an email coming from an unknown sender...?

A government-funded trojan can be smarter than the average trojan. Still pretty stupid, though. Couldn't they at least hijack a terrorist website and use that to download their trojan onto visitor's PCs? Silly interior minister. Edit: Fixed. Thanks, Tub. :)

Polls show that most of us are against the stupid plans of our lunatic interior minister. He's been confined to a wheelchair since 1990, after a failed assassination attempt. He's been growing more and more paranoid since then, and nowadays he's trying to bend our constitution for ridiculous laws meant to bring safety against terrorism. The trojan.. sorry, "remote forensic software" isn't even the worst. He suggested target killing on terrorism suspicion! That guy is mentally ill and completely unfit for his duties. Unfortunately, he has enough political friends to stay in office, and the media doesn't seem to care too much either.
