Thanks guys, I will try to optimize these levels. For some weird reason the last boss only need 1 hit to be defeated and the "cutscene" at the end is a little bug I hope there are no problems for a submission

Just note that in MBZ1 the score count is not skipped, as I stopped recording before that point, and kaan55 merged it into his WIP without skipping the score count. (upd) I’ve TASed the final boss fight and got 0:14.55 (or 0:14.53? Honestly I don’t know). Here is the gmv, based on the last kaan55’s WIP. I also found a much faster way to enter the terrain in MBZ2, but I couldn’t do anything good with it.

I assumed you already did skip the score tally so I just fast forwarded to Act 2. Good thing this was only the WIP. Nice job with the final boss. What was with those pauses? Yeah I've looked all over with debug mode in MBZ2. That clip was the best I could find.

Starry Night ACT 1 in 0:26.23 thanks to 2 new loop zips and 16px walls abuse. I guess I'm done with SNZ, I don't want it to become a zip-fest.

Like animal manipulation and Aquatic Ruin boss, you can make the final zone boss in S1 appear fast watching an address and pause at a specific value, is not hard at all, maybe WST can explain you this, I don't remember the adress atm

In this level, when you reach certain X position, the boss art begins loading. And it takes quite a while — so much that when you reach the boss room in a tool-assisted run, it’s still loading and boss will not appear until it’s done. Fortunately, there is a bug (or even feature) in this game: if you pause when the art started loading, it will continue loading while the timer will not tick. So, the idea is: when the pointer begins changing between frames, pause the game as early as possible to keep it changing, then unpause it as early as it’s just enough for the next item to start loading. You can use my RAM watch file for this game. The watch is called “PLC queue pointer”.

Wow, thank you, I did in fact miss that! Although to clarify, at the time incomplete hacks (such as Megamix) were not accepted by the rules. As a way to satisfy the passion for this fan-hack it was instead relegated to this topic but thank you for the mention.
