I still like the idea that Nintendo would get Sega to put Sonic into the game. It's popular enough, and there's supposed to be some player votes as to who should be in the game. I just don't believe this image to be valid. Go find me the original linked from an official source.

Dah, I see what they did there. They even showed the logo they used to make the fake! So on one side, they have the logo pasted on with a little blurring, while on the other side, they have the logo pasted on with a little sharpening.

I guess people will also post the image in some current circulation advertising that Brawl is available for pre-order now. Some dum bass designer for the ad put Sonic in with the group, not knowing that Sonic isn't (or hasn't been announced), and now some people are using that as "proof" that Sonic is there. It's a pretty obvious flaw, though, because it has Samus' Prime model, rather than SSBB, and shows the Melee group art in the background.

I agree with DeHacked. The image is fake but I think it highly likely that Sonic is in. Nintendo and Sega are very friendly to eachother these days as evidenced by that future Mario and Sonic game. Nintendo also said there will be 1-2 third party characters outside of Snake. Nintendo did take fan requests for third party characters and said in an interview that Sonic was #1 request. My money is on one of the guys from contra, as long as they are willing to go outside nintendo owned titles. Megaman would be a possability as well, or Christopher Belmont now that I think about it.

I think Simon Belmont would be more likely, but it's a moot point considering how similar most of the Belmonts are.

Well, I used Photoshop to magnify and sharpen the reflection in Samus' eyes, and... Seriously, though, I highly doubt the Brawl developers and Sakurai are going to be putting anything so microscopically tell-tale in any of the updates. It's one thing that they put a few leading releases out as of late (Franklin Badge, and a handful of the stickers, for starters), but it's not going to be anything as retarded as what Chamale linked to.

I kinda doubt it, but the coolest one they could add would be little mac, of punch out fame. a fast hand to hand brawler, its a no brainer.
