This is a TAS of the n64 classic "The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time". It is the first run (that I know of) that is under 2 hours and the first run that uses the "Reverse Bottle Adventure Glitch" which is what made this time possible. Using this glitch you can instantly update something in your inventory or quest item sub-screen.
Aims for fastest time
Uses death as shortcut
Takes damage to save time
Abuses programming errors in the game
No predefined saves
Genre: Action
Genre: Adventure
This is my first submission if I left something out of these comments let me know.
Bisqwit: Congratulations on your first TAS movie. I believe you gained a lot
of experience in the making of it. However, as many audience members have pointed
out, this movie is lacking in a few aspects we keep important. Compared to the
published movie, it does not do as good job following the guidelines,
such as "never wait for anything unless absolutely necessary", even though
it completes the game faster due to new techniques.
As you already have realized yourself, part of it is because you
did not use frame advance in the making of this movie.
As such, because this movie does not really represent well the quality we uphold
on this site, and because the votes cast on this submission are not significantly
in favor of publishing it, I am rejecting this submission.
I wish you good luck for your next TAS work, but I recommend you
gather experience from some less demanding TAS project first.
Hmm.. for me it desynchs pretty in the beginning...
At first link rans out of the "house".
Then jumps down and collects 2 rupees.
After that he climbs on the fence to collect some and has now 8 rupees
by entering the hole.
When Link reaches the Treasure and get the Sword he has 15.
After that he slashes that bush.
And i think this is the part where it... more or less "desynchs"
because there comes nothing out.
then he rans back.
And jumps accros this platforms to get another 5 rupees.
now he has about 32 rupees. (sometimes more... sometimes less oO)
then he enters the shop and get the 5 hidden rupees.
But now he has only 37 and try to buy the Deku-Shield.
But he can't^^"
After that... he speaks with the shop owner a few times...
And then open the menu to equip the "shield".
then he leaves the shop... jumps in the water..
And just dive xD
hmm... Do i something wrong?
btw.
the run from Guanabowl desynchs also in the beginning after he comes out of this hole. Any way to fix this?
I like it. Yes, there is some glumsy parts but it was entertaining :)
And one thing. Why you collect that Ruto's letter? I think you don't need that because you skip King Zora anyway.
Can't vote.
Movie desynched when Link tried to buy the Kokiri Shield with just 38 Rupees... probably because a couple of patches of grass gave out no Rupees when cut.
I'll try my hand at capturing it... Though chances are the site won't accept an mkv file for publishing. and I don't want to encode to 320x240 either because it just makes the game look bad.

Voting Meh, but you get an A for effort, and shame on the people who made him submit (although thats victim language... no one made him).
For people having trouble with the run make sure you use my latest builds of Mupen64 (AntiDS Mupen64 Rerecording V9). I've had easy success syncing this game.

Minor catch I've found with that version though: making avi's doesn't seem to work with it. Unless its been fixed, only the audio is sent to the avi, nothing more.
<adelikat> I am annoyed at my irc statements ending up in forums & sigs

Works for me, sadly you are just hated by all; this is your fate. (j/k)
I sent the source modifications to DeHackEd, hopefully he can pump something out (AVIwise)
