Well stay tuned then. ;D
I have some more glitches coming up that can do some really funky stuff, including more that make beating the game impossible.
It'll be up in a day or two, depends how busy I am.
Whoa! This is some awesome stuff! I like watching your videos! They are so awesome! :D
I don't care if some of those glitches are useless, they are still fun to watch and it is fun coming across cool/interesting glitches in this game! Maybe some of this can develop ideas for useful glitches in this TAS! :D
Part 5; a juicy seven and a half minute video. Using Wire glitching, I do some pretty neat stuff, including but not limited to:
-Rapid fire Rain Flush
-Flying
-Hovering
-Getting weapon energy after death
-Making the game unplayable
-and more!
Mind you, it's a little out of context, but nonetheless.
The video also includes moonwalking and how to kill Dr. Wily.
Now, I have my doubts but using the flying trick with Wire may be faster since you can get to the ladder at a faster speed, but I'm not so sure about switching to and from Wire. Perhaps if at least one other helpful technique can be used, then Wire might actually become an optimal idea.
Enjoy. =D
I don't believe that's possible since there's a few frame delay when using Wire. Bright and Toad work since they are instant. Even Ring can't be used.
Yay! Another Icy video!
I think my favorite bit was at around 4 minutes:
*look up*
*Wire shot*
*DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO"
*beeeep*
It's a shame that the TASes don't pick up Wire. It'd be great for added entertainment during that section.
Thanks for the video!

Lol, nice. Wire is really abusable in a lot of places, it seems.
Your recent videos inspired me to make another glitch video, this time in the boss refights in Mega Man 1.

<dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects.
<Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits
<adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.
That's awesome! :)
I also have some important stuff about the MM4 run: The hex addresses for the energy balls after killing a boss in Mega Man 4 are located in 000300 through 0003FF. The x-axis where the boss is defeated is located in 000381 and the y-axis for it is located in 000343. This means that the vertical position for the boss does matter after all.

You never quit finding cool glitches in MM4, do you?
Also, I made another MM1 glitching video. I'd post it in the Rockman (1) thread, but I find it more suitable here, between all the other glitch videos.

Here's the glitch. I found that for 1 Frame, you can use your weapon in the Cossack Stage 3 Boss room, which leads to some cool tricks and glitches. Check out the video.
Could that be used to get a hit in before you can actually move? Maybe with Toad Man's attack?
Apologies if this doesn't make sense for whatever reason, it's been a long time since Mega Man 4.
You can shoot in any bossroom if you jump before the gate, thus you fall down in the bossroom, and until you touch the ground you have control of megaman. Though, you can't damage the bosses anyway.
Mind explaining exactly how the rush jet trick thingy works? I could probably figure it out by looking at the movie file, but it'd be more helpful to learn why it works.
Maybe I can find some new glitches. =)
Seriously Glitchman, I'm so eager to see the final completed TAS my leg just exploded (just try to make sense out of that one). Still, even if it does take time, I believe it's absolutely worth it, as your latest wips have been so amazing.
Keep it up.
