I jumped over them in earlier versions. I didn't in the most recent version. Maybe that will help you decide what to do :-) I played around with FCEU today to see if I wanted to give it another go. After spending nearly 45 minutes on the first screen it crashed and I lost all of my progress. If that's what I have to look forward to then I gotta say no thanks.

After viewing both finalfighters wall trick and kopernicals run, Im not so sure if its useful to implement finalfighters trick at that stage. Because it takes too much time until the enemies fire at you so you can go through the wall, and also kopernicals method seems faster. Maybe finalfighter did not execute the trick, fast as possible, he probably just wanted to show it..

Before I finish the first half of Pharaoh Man stage (close now), I would like to ask if its best to stand on the middle of the hovering robots in the second stage, because I want to do a quick slide and jump. kopernical stands on the edge of the robots, so its hard to tell which method is faster, though it might not even be that significant because you can always go a bit further if you use kopernicals method and then slide.

The slide won't help - you won't gain any extra length for the jump from the slide. So it's best to stand on the extreme edge of the platform - it also makes it easiest to jump at the earliest possible instant & farthest.

So you mean I should jump at the "first half of the edge" (sorry for my poor english but I hope you will understand) on the hovering robots to activate them soon as possible and then stand on the "second half of the edge" so you can reach the second hover robot fast as possible right? So sliding on them is not necesseraly? Just go further to stand on the second edge. Though the hanging vampire might cause trouble..

Quick question: How many slides is the best to do when you are near to reach the Balloon? 4 or 5? and also, I assume there should be no problem if the fcm file is 1 byte bigger than the fc1 file?

Okey here is my second version for the first half of Pharaoh Man level. Certainly a big improvement compared with my first n00bish run. I really hope that I at least am equal (timewise) with kopernical. The only difference between mine and his run are that I slide under 2 sand scorpions which kopernicals terminates them in his run. Megaman "acted" awkward in some certain places, I mean in some spots, the autofire weapon did not work so I had to press the regular fire weapon (no big deal for me) and other "strange slides" occured.
