Kind of an odd problem; when I open a game in Mupen, it displays fine. But when I try to play back a movie, I get a blank screen. I can tell the movie is playing, because the sound is there, but no video. I'm using the TAS-modified Mupen downloaded from JXQ's emulator downloads page, but without the reset-record patch; is that my problem, or is it something else?

Some graphics plugins do this. glN64 is the main offender from my own experience. Try using Jabo 1.5.2 because I've never had this problem with that. Failing that try redownloading the emulator as that sometimes does the trick. I'm pretty sure this is your problem...

I've had this problem twice in the past two days, though I've gone through so many plugins I've forgotten which one it was. Which video plugin is causing this for you (or is it all of them)?

If gln64 is giving you this problem (which it probably is, as mine does that), there's an easy way to fix this. Load the game with a different plugin, say, Jabo's 1.5.2. Go to ROM properties (ctrl P) and switch the graphics plugin to gln64 and press "save RP settings". Then play the movie as normal. Note that the above applies only to movies recorded from start. From snapshot movies don't need anything special. Also, I'm guessing you're trying to watch the new OoT WIP, no?
