"As for getting beyond the last room of wily4, I wouldn't be surprised if there turns out to be a way to visibly scroll right without crashing the game, but what's the point" -well, for exploration purposes...I'd be nice to run around all through the glitch worlds...might even find out neat things about the game. It's because of these that we all realize that ladders don't work automatically. There may be other secrets hidden in the glitch worlds. I haven't seen any videos of the scrolling being done with the Mechadragon or the Wily 6 alien. Did anybody make those? I've spent hours and still haven't reproduced them yet, so I'm curious what it looks like.

I made these a while back: shuttertech_mechadragon.fcm shuttertech_mechadragon_kill.fcm shuttertech_wily6.fcm The dragon movies are using a cheat for the invincibility trick found by Omeg. The scroll-right in the third movie was performed by Bisqbot.

I think he's saying: You can get extra height by using more than one Item 1. If you have ammo left, you might be able to find places where using it can gain time. It's anyone's guess though.

that should work where ever you use item1 pretty much as long as you have enough item1 to spare.

This technique is great because I recall crash bombs are effective against the wily machine in the next stage, and there are no refills between them. edit: since it seems you only need to use one against it, it's more useful for the quickman refight instead

Yes. The hit from crash explosion is transferred to the enemy. But according to Finalfighter, it only works when it works. It's not clear how it works.

I was just under the assumption that it confuses the hitspark as an attack sprite when a crash bomb explosion goes off. Or does it only work rarely?

hehe.. FinalFighter RoCKszZ :) i have seen kolechovski's "version"... is this just happening just becouse of lag caused by Crashbomb & boss and right timing ? i have been really busy.. and i met new crappy thing in Rockman2.. :) in my new version i saved 2 item1s.. and time was exactly same in airmanstage but in cloudarea theres happening something weird.. some cloud(s) appears few frames later.. i lose 1 - 2 frames becouse of that of course im not going to lose few frames i will FIGHT against that crappy rockman2 code.. i have tried remake 4 - 6 movements for 2 weeks but hanzou realized the proplem.. i don't know any better idea than remaking airmanstage.. \o/

Can you jump from the bottom right to the middle platform? It looks like the jump should be easy to make, in which case I reckon you can use one bomb to kill the two barriers on the right as well as run into the boss in the middle. It wastes a little time, but you'd have one more crash bomb for use later, if it could save any time.

You can't make that jump but it should be faster than the method used in Final Fighter's vid as you would have middle gun and the 2 barriers in the bottom right cleared out after just 2 crash bombs instead of 3, the second one would get fire slower but than the second one on final figher's vid but faster than the 3rd one in his vid. I think there's an even faster way though that is actually possible: Shoot the first bomb just like FF did, but then go to the middle gun and kill it while the first bomb is going off asap. Then drop down to the bottom right shoot the bomb to get both those barriers, after they get destroyed run immeadiatly to the right middle gun to kill it with the 2 barriers. Then shoot a bomb across the screen to the left gun (edit* can't shoot bomb through 1 block gap) and of course run into the bottom right gun to kill it with the left gun.

This also requires that impossible jump.
shoot a bomb accros the screen to the left gun and of course run into the bottom right gun to kill it with the left gun.
I also don't think it's possible to shoot a crash bomb through that gap, but would be happy to be proven wrong.

oh I see why you can't make that jump now, edited my post, I don't see why the crash bomb accross the screen from right to left would be impossible.

You can try it yourself. If you need a savestate to start from, use the crashbomb_glitch.fcm that I posted 4 pages back.

Wow, the crash bomb has an effective width greater than one block, or so it seems, maybe there's a position where it can get through I can't tell if I've tried 2 positions that are exactly adjacent. I'm pretty sure this 4 bomb method would work and be faster: Do everything the same as FF but get the middle gun along with the first bomb and then shoot across to the left gun. If you think about it the second crash bomb should diffinitely land faster.

Sorry I haven't been around in a little while...bad things have been happening. Anyway, Yeah, this is the one I found a while back. Also, note after you destroy the 3 upper guns and go to destroy the walls that block the right ones, you can shoot a bomb at the upper one before the explosion finishes. I just want to help you save as many frames as possible on that. Also, to those asking, we've discussed using the Crash Bombs left over in Level 5, but so far it was determined that it is faster doing things the usual way, at least for the Wily ship battle. They may be useful against Quick Man, though, if the weapon change screen doesn't take too long. Does boss invincibility timing get used up during rematerialization after changing weapons during the fight?

Haha.. New WIP is "Finaly" OUT ! This game is really hard really.. becouse some parts are insane in this game.. and some rockman2 code areas are really hard to luckmanipulate..
