Okay I think its time for someone else to do improve Rockman 2. I can almost promise we wont see a improved timeattack from Morimoto (at least probably not for another year or so), and so what. There are several good known megaman players here, Bisqwit, Kopernical, Sleepz, Woodball, Gigafrost, Megafrost, Bleechy, prower etc. I certainly hope some of these guys takes the challenge, personally I would like Bisqwit to do it because of the marvellous glitch he found on rockman1.

Well, actually... I think he didn't find it, but the Morimoto and/or Finalfighter taught him. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) So if that's your qualification, you should hope that Morimoto is the one that improves RM2. :P Okay, I'm just being silly. I'll get my ass over there and ask them how it's going now.

When I read "the marvellous glitch" I directly thought of the magnet beam/ceiling fast forward, which I have a weak memory of reading that one of the Japanese discovered. But thinking of it, Angerfist could be referring to any glitch, so I jumped to conclusions. Didn't mean to steal your glory, if that's what it sounded like.

For anyones wondering, I can report that I indeed asked how the movie's going, about a week ago, and still have not recieved a reply. Their board seems to be fairly dead anyway... the only other post appearing there in the meantime was from another newcomer. I'll let you know if anything happens.

Damnit. I wanna see the new run!!! *cries* Hehe.. If someone else started a run I suppose Morimoto would crush his/her resistance fairly easy when the new movie comes out. :D But still though. There haven't been much noise about new Mega man runs. Both 1 and 2 should be re-done if you ask me. Even though both is good. But Mega Man 2 is not that good anymore. Atleast not the old movie. I feel like I'm repeating my self. Had a ciouple of beers. Bwahaha!

I'd like to go at it, but there are a few problems: 1. I don't have infinite free time 2. I'd hate it if after publishing the movie, Morimoto points out that level <x> is 2 seconds slower than in his movie, for whatever reason I didn't know beforehand 3. Publishing a not-perfect movie creates a drop in the spirit for consequent improvements The tricks Finalfighter has been mapping being difficult to perform comes as a distant 4.

Bisqwit forget about him (not I don't respect him, I like his run) do your own thing, so what if you do a complete new version of Rockman 2 and if a certain level is 2 seconds slower, as long as your version kicks/smashes the current version by minutes I think many people will be so happy. I think many people agrees with me that the current Rockman 2 version is so damn old... Therefore even if you do a new version that obsoletes it with only 20 or 30 seconds I still would love to download and erase Morimotos run and keep your run. And about you having lack of time is absolutely understandable. I mean you encode, write messages here, help people find their way here etc etc. But what if Phil or someone else could help with thoose things for a month or so (or for the time it takes for you to complete the run with 100% satisfactory) so you could take your time and do the run? Pretty plz just say yes and do it, forget about everything and just do it man :) "Phil* the reason we are so urgent its because we all have a burning desire to see a new freeeeeesh version of Rockman 2. Thats why we cant take it anymore + for the love of the game = Rockman/Megaman.
