My movie got rejected for using a PAL version, does that version come with the game, or do you manually set it up?

The PAL version is a different ROM cartridge. Usually, if it's PAL, it'll be in a ROM file with a filename that ends with "(E)", in which case you should find a ROM that ends with "(U)" instead.

That helps. That helps a lot. ) But I got another question, what if your rom doesn't have a (U) or (E) at the end of it's title? For example I have a Tin Star rom that's called Tinstar.smc but that's all there is to it, is that a problem?

You can have your rom properly re-labelled using GoodSNES (I think that's how it's called). That's all I can tell you since I'm not too experienced in this field.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Tools Check out Cowering's site at http://www.allgoodthings.us/mambo/. I haven't used his software so I can't help you with that, but I do know that the goodset databases he has created are generally the gold standard for ROM naming.

I wouldn't get a GoodSNES, if it's a software, I wouldn't want to go through all the trouble to getting one. There has to be another way to change my rom to NTSC!

It isn't software to change your ROM, it is software to catalog which ROMs you have. You're on your own to figure out ways to increase your collection.

For SNES at least, GoodTools isn't the gold standard anymore. GoodSNES hasn't been updated in about 4 and a half years, and a fair number of new dumps and, more importantly for most people, verifications have come out since then. If you ever try to catalog your ROMs, I would strongly suggest using either NSRT, which can be had at http://snesemu.black-ship.net/index.php?page=tools, or the No-Intro SNES database. NSRT would probably be your best bet, because not only is its database not quite as out of date (more like a little under two years), but it gives more information about your ROMS than GoodSNES, doesn't include stuff like bad dumps and overdumps, and can manipulate your ROMs in more ways (e.g., it can fix some known bad dumps and has better overdump detection). No-Intro's database is even more up-to-date, but you'll have to set up either clrmamepro or Romcenter to use it.

Well, I just found out that my Tin Star rom is an NTSC version, so I will not be asking any further questions until I really needed to. Good thing I didn't need the GoodSNES.
