Very nice run! Definitely a lot of fun, even if the warp glitch confused the heck outta me. Outside of that, I was entertained "THIEF" ;). That alone rocked! V for Vendetta against the shop keeper? ;) Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

This was an unexpected submission. I knew that the run was improveable, but not how much. Very nice run at least, yes yes.

Not everyone has a nicovideo account, otherwise I would actually watch it. I would make an account, but I can't exactly read Japanese. ;_;

Just do what I did :) Wing it ^^ I did and I managed to get an account. ^^ Mind you, it also helped that when scrolling over certain things, there was enough english to know what I was trying. Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

I wonder... what required so many rerecords for this run?

You don't need an account to watch that video, which you would know if you had clicked it.

There are tons of English tutorials on this on the net… which you would know if you had searched for them. >_>

I know you can turn off the scrolling text by clicking the little pac-man button on the bottom right, so I'm not complaining (and it's nice to have an encode at all, so I'm grateful). But seriously, what IS all that text saying? Buncha vvvvvs and wwwwwwws. Am I missing some international font files? My browser normally shows Japanese text. And how can anyone even watch the video with all that stuff scrolling? Is it commentary or ads? Just curious. The TAS itself looks great. I've watched the run this one will obsolete, and it's nice that there's no big changes but I still enjoy watching it. This game is just a fun one to watch. I love that such a trippy and bizarre game is equally strange and breakable (even after they took out the select warp trick from the non-DX version). I don't see this particular game getting many more improvements unless there are new glitches found.

If I remember right, "w" is short from "warui", and "wwwwwww" is analogous to "lol" or "lolololol" for most purposes. This is viewers' comments on the stuff happening in the video at current point in time, from what I can tell.

Very nice TAS! While making my own version of this (the currently published run), I had wondered if things like boss manipulation could potentially be improved. I wasn't expecting this many other optimizations, though - I'm very impressed that you were able to squeeze frames in so many places (e.g. I though most of the bow-wow bouncing in the previous TAS was perfect). I also thought your boss battle was quite entertaining, which was good to see. I suppose it's only fair that you obsolete my run after I obsoleted yours :) I'm giving this a yes vote.

There's no reason not to publish this. Shame it looses its charm after multiple improvements.

Yes vote. Tip for everyone watching this on nicovideo. You can turn off those annoying japanese words on the bottom right of the video. Took me a while to figure out.

My sarcasm detector is going off. I was being jovial in my original post; it's too bad that you can never really indicate intent over the internet. I was merely entertained by the oversight, nothing more. (This ends a discussion about a thing on a forum.)

Is it me or are the credits utterly broken? / vs As it turns out, hogehoge61's encode used "Smart" interframe blending, which makes those flickering letters appear transparent. The last publication's encode didn't feature this option. Any preferences on this? Personally I'd prefer the transparent letters, although they go against the frames not being altered/dropped/duped rule.
