As a Windows User,I am now reseraching some PCE Games.But I meet some problems."Valis (J)" (a ISO ROM) is a good game,I find I can't open it with Pcejin_83,althouth I have got BIOS file. All the file I have got are: [BIOS] TurboGrafx CD Super System Card (USA) (v3.0).pce Track No01.mp3 Track No03.mp3 Track No04.mp3 Track No05.mp3 Track No06.mp3 Track No07.mp3 Track No08.mp3 Track No09.mp3 Track No10.mp3 Track No11.mp3 Track No12.mp3 Track No13.mp3 Track No14.mp3 Track No15.mp3 Track No16.mp3 Track No17.mp3 Track No18.mp3 Track No19.mp3 Track No20.mp3 Track No21.mp3 Track No22.mp3 Track No23.mp3 Track No24.mp3 Track No25.mp3 Track No26.mp3 Track No27.mp3 Track No28.mp3 Track No29.mp3 track02.iso valis1 (J) mp3.cue valis1 (J).cue valis_(j)_back.jpg valis_(j)_front.jpg

Iso/mp3 isn't supported. If you convert that to bin/cue it should work.

Thank you for your help Sir.Castlevania - Rondo Of Blood is similar to Valis (J),I think you are good at "Iso/mp3 to bin/cue". My problem is that I don't clear which file I should convert. Now I have transformed all the mp3 to wav(44100Hz);Open the valis1 (J).cue with deamon, there is a file named "Track01.cda",add file track02.iso in UltraISO and transform track02.iso to track02.bin,rewrite valis1 (J).cue FILE "Track No01.wav" WAVE TRACK 01 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 TITLE "Track No01" FILE "track02.bin" BINARY TRACK 02 MODE1/2048 PREGAP 00:03:09 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "Track No03.wav" WAVE TRACK 03 AUDIO PREGAP 00:02:00 INDEX 01 00:00:00 TITLE "Track No03" FILE "Track No04.wav" WAVE... Open the valis1 (J).cue with Pcejin At last,I fails:(

Mednafen supports iso+wav+cue also. In other words, you could have stopped after converting the mp3s to wavs, and just used your valis1 (J).cue. However, mednafen-rr and pcejin accept only bin+cue. Plus it's touchy that the cue only reference data and audio tracks and no other information. So do the following: 1) Throw away the bin file you made from the iso file. 2) Put the wavs with your iso file and mount them in Daemon with this cue:
FILE "Track No01.wav" WAVE

3)Use a dumping program to convert the mounted virtual CD to bin+cue. I used ImgBurn myself. 4) You should end up with a big (>500 MB) bin file and a cue that looks something like this:
FILE "Valis.bin" BINARY
  TRACK 01 AUDIO
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
  TRACK 02 MODE1/2352

5) Now load pcejin (or mednafen-rr) and point it to that cue file. It should work now if you have your bios set up right.

The different is in "INDEX",am I wrong?Or it does not matter?I find the game and its music are normal/standard with my cue.

If it plays and sounds fine it should be OK. Probably the difference is due to different dumping procedures. Interestingly, your cue does not work with my bin (BIOS loads but boot fails), and probably my cue does not work with your bin. We are obviously working with the same source files.

I'm having this same problem. I am trying to load "Gradius II - Gofer no Yabou (J).cue" in PCEjin and it doesn't do anything at all after I load it. I converted the .ogg files to .wav files like the read me file with the .cue told me too, but I can't get it to load by itself or when mounted in Deamon Tools and I am confused with what I was supposed to do now...
