Do the minibosses count as unique enemies?

By 5 unique enemies, basically you mean 1 of an enemy but end it at count 5 total correct?

what i mean is killing 5 different kinds of enemies. for instance, i could kill 5 of the tops that are at the beginning of the level, but you would still need to find 4 different and unique enemies to kill. if you need more guidance i can make a example video (using a different level/game)

Oh ok, I was confused by what you meant by unique. So basically 1 of each type of enemy that can die. Those Eyeball Ring miniboss things count as a unique enemy too right?

yes, every enemy except ringman (who you obviously wont see) counts, because i believe there are only 6-8 total unique enemies in the level

There are only 5 unique enemies that can be destroyed with Mega Man's pea shooter. So yeah, you'll just have to be sure to destroy all hittable enemies at least once. Btw, I already sent my submission. This is an awesome method of wasting half a night.

Yeah I noticed that he can only kill 5 enemies here as well. I'm almost done too, at the second Hippo. Stupid Rush is misbehaving. To be honest, Buster and Rush Coil only is a pretty cool challenge in this stage. Edit: Done, but I'm not going to submit it right away. I'll probably wait a few days first.

Mine is submitted. Not any of my best work but TASing under those restrictions was quite amusing. It was also a good reminder as for why I will never make a serious attempt to TAS a Mega Man game again (lag).

yes there will, i am trying to find a goal for the next task (i have the game) and i will post that tonight. i hopefully will have compilation videos up tonight but that might wait (i want to get it done today though since i start school tomorrow and i will be really busy)

Heh, me and Mothrayas tied task 2. That was pretty weird lol I won't be participating in task 3 because I don't have internet atm (at a McDonalds currently) but I hope to get back up as soon as I can.

This game was actually very fun to TAS, might even consider doing a full run of it. Anyway, I'll join the competition at least :). Edit: Ok, I'm done with task #3. I do have a request on changing the start timing however. As you time stuff yourself, you don't need to bother, but still :). Considering that you can start moving before the screen gets visible, it's not that easy to know which frame is the first one. Why not starting the timing from the first frame in the movie? As everyone is supposed to play from reset anyway, will also be easier to calculate the final time. I guess the ending timing could work fine as is. I usually prefer to have the end at the first full black/white (Or whatever) frame. Also... If I send in my run now, can I still send in an improved version later in case I find improvements?

alright, i will change the start timing to be the first frame the map select screen starts to darken (after you have hit a to start the level). the reason i dont want a start from reset is that i dont want everybody to have to spend 5-10 min making frame perfect menu selections if they dont want to, they can just autofire through it.

awsome, i wont have a good entry just because of school work, but i have a question regarding the next task. the system is going to be genesis, and i was wondering how people would feel about the task featuring you controlling 2 players (you would use the genesis multitrack script, if one exists that works) thoughts?

Sounds interesting. I like the idea of controlling 2 characters. I've never done one like that before so I really can't say for sure how it would be, but it sounds fun none the less. As for Scripts, I have no knowledge with them so I really don't know what to say about that.

Oh, snap. Is there a Gens Multitrack script? If not, I'm going to make one ASAP. If there is, link to it soon, please. There's like one or two people using my Multitrack scripts, not including me, to the extent of my knowledge. I would love to see more use come of it. EDIT: I've just been informed Gens has multitrack built-in. Silly me... Regardless, think I should try to port a multitrack script over anyway?

yes i will, i have just been really busy with school this week (i was sick for 2 days last week, and in high school, that puts me WAAAAAY behind) i will try to get the compilation vids for the last to tasks up tonight, and a new task. i have one in mind i just have to check and make sure it is possible.
