Welcome to my home page!

I’m a French speedrunner and TASer. You can find me on:

My completed TAS projects are listed in this spreadsheet. Below is a list of my TAS project ideas.
  • The games are roughly listed in the order I plan to tackle them (but nothing is set in stone).
  • Projects with a tool character 🛠 are currently being worked on.
    • Projects (in parenthesis) are put on hold.
  • Projects with hearts ❤︎ have my utmost attention.
  • Projects with an overstrike effect have recently been completed.

Super Paper Mario (Wii)

I’m a full-time computer science researcher. Basically it means two things:
  • 1. I like math.
  • 2. TASing is very close to what I do for a living: doing research and sharing my work in a standardized and (hopefully) accessible way!
I’m 26, so it should not surprise you that my favorite systems are the DS, the GameCube and the Wii. Even though I bear no nostalgia towards the SNES and the GBA, I’m a big fan of their game libraries.
I would say that my history with gaming is quite unique. I started as a Sonic fan on the GameCube with the Mega/Gems collections and the ports of the Adventure games. Then I became a Mario fan on the Wii thanks to the Galaxy games, Super Paper Mario and Virtual Console titles like Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario. Now I’m a gaming fan as a whole, with some bias towards retro stuff.
Speedruns
My main speedruns are VVVVVV, Kuru Kuru Kururin and Super Paper Mario. But I also speedrun a lot of other games as long as I enjoy playing them. A full list is available in this spreadsheet.
TAS history
Like many French people, I discovered tool-assisted speedruns in the early 2010s with the multiple video series made by RealMyop and CoeurDeVandale (88 mph followed by Speed Game). However, I only took the leap in late 2018 after I found out-of-bounds goal zones in Kuru Kuru Kururin. ThunderAxe31 and ViGadeomes helped me a lot in my debuts. This led to the 2019 Kuru Kuru Kururin fastest completion movie made in conjunction with my friend E-Sh4rk.
After that, apart from some light preparation for a future Kururin “100%” TAS and a potential Mario Party 8 “Star Battle Arena” TAS, I only TASed occasionally between April 2019 and June 2024, mostly to help me find new tricks in my main RTA speedgames. Here are some examples in Super Paper Mario.
In July 2024 I finished writing my PhD thesis, which left me a two-month window with a lot of free time. So I took this opportunity to go back to my two TAS projects from several years ago. I’m relieved now that both Kuru Kuru Kururin 100% and Mario Party 8 “Star Battle Arena” have been completed within this time frame! Although both projects were quite demanding, it reignited my interest in this hobby and gave me lots of project ideas for the future.
So, after a break of one to two months, I plan to invest more of my spare time in TASing, and more regularly. You could think of it as a gradual transition from RTA speedrunning to TASing, although I don’t intend to leave speedrunning behind altogether.
