!!! Why Famtasia? Why not <something else>? These features are required: * Movie recording and replay * Movie rerecording (using quicksaves to undo part of the movie) * Good emulation quality * The emulator must work in Linux - either as native or with emulation such as Wine. These emulators have been considered and rejected: * FCE-Ultra (lacks recording) * VirtuaNES (doesn't work in Linux (not even with winex)) * Nesticle (bad quality, lacks rerecording, slow under Dosbox) * Nester (lacks recording, doesn't work in Linux) * iNES (bad quality, lacks recording) Famtasia just happens to work. Which is why I use it.
