Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Mario Bros., the three Arcade hits from Nintendo, was released in a time when Nintendo didn't have its own home console (in the case of Mario Bros., it's released ONE day before the launch of Famicom). As a results, they got a LOT of different releases on a variety of platforms from many different firms.
