Being a senior judge requires certain soft skills to be fairly well developed: * Having a long-term vision that benefits the community, and specific plans on how to implement it * Being fundamentally open to new developments, ability to adjust without sacrificing anything * Ability to lead by example and to inspire people * Ability to see reality from different points of view and to work with all of them with minimal bias * Ability to listen to people and to come up with solutions that attempt to make them happy * Ability to not do things that can not be reasonably explained * Ability to feel which trends have promising potential and to support them, while working on deconstructing problematic trends
