A bad hockey game for GG.

- Genre: sports
- Win the game
- Aims for fastest time
- Ends input early
Comments
Period length is set to minimum 5 minutes.
We make one goal to win the game.
Then we wait for the timer to end while avoiding interruptions and lag.
This game does progress automatically to the final screen, so we can end input early after starting the 3rd period, as long as we manipulate RNG so that we win with no input.
This is perhaps a good contender for the top 100 worst TASes ever on the whole site, on account of the game mechanics, graphics, sound and a general lack of meaningful TAS-like content despite it being a TAS that aims for fastest time.
Possible timesave: Reduce lag. I'm sure lag can be reduced forever, so maybe set this to 'delayed' for a few years, so that somebody can try reducing lag if they want. There is nothing to co-author here, so if you remove 1 frame of lag the credit is all yours if you want to take it.
Speed/entertainment tradeoffs: Changed the team in 8 frames to get a green shirt, because green is a color that makes you feel like you are touching grass.
One interesting aspect of the run is that in the last period you can see two blue players overlapping in a way that makes their oscillating shirt patterns look like a traditional 2D cellular automaton.
Welp, have a nice day!
Darkman425: Not to be confused with Champion Ice Hockey for the SG-1000. Also, claiming for judging.
Darkman425: If I were to get subjective for a bit, this is a perfectly watchable TAS since there's something relaxing with making a hockey game calm somehow. I don't think you should punch down on your own work.
Anyways, I'm reasonably sure the "lag" is more that the game probably runs at 30 FPS for stable framerate reasons. The shortened inputs do lead to the end of the game well enough so no problem there. Nice work!
Accepting to Standard.
