In this run i used normal mode (not Navi Mode) because of how the pause works, the original version when you pause at the air then land on a platform, Mega Man will stand directly without a moving sprite, this is fundamental to do the refights skip with Wire, on Navi Mode the pause menu is different, and Mega Man will continue doing his moving sprite when he lands on a platform, you will have to wait for his moving animation to end to shot a Wire, and you will not have the iframes to reach the next room.
When you change weapon with L and R you lose 1 frame. You can change from any Rush directly to Balloon or Wire with just 1 switch, unlike the normal weapons you have to select normal buster and then Balloon or Wire (2 switches)
Killing the bosses on the center of the screen is faster.
  • Pharaoh Man
I take the Balloon with landing on Rush Coil, this is faster than taking it normally without Rush, then i use Balloon all across the stage.
  • Drill Man
Drill Man is the second robot because i have to get Rush Jet as fast as possible to do the zips on the other stages.
  • Ring Man
In this stage i do the Rush Jet zips for the first time, its faster to take damage and do the zip than sliding normally. On the screen that i do the zip through the wall i have to move the screen to get out of the wall in-screen, if i don't do this Mega Man will dissapear out of the screen and will end on a softlock or death.
  • Bright Man
There's many zips in this stage, every zip that i do in this stage is faster than any other way i tried.
  • Dust Man
I tried a Rush Jet zip on the first screen but it ended to be faster doing it normally because i had to move the screen too much to do the transition to the next screen.
  • Skull Man
Not that different from the NES run, i used a Balloon almost at the final part right after the Rush Jet zip because i'm able to do a little zip on the ceiling and it was faster than doing it normally.
  • Toad Man
Same as Dust Man, Rush Jet zip on the first screen was slower because of the screen moving thing.
  • Dive Man
Nothing special to say, to kill the last 2 whales i use Buster + Skull Barrier, the last whale i used a charged shot Buster + Skull Barrier because i had to save Skull Barrier for the Boss.
  • Cossack 1
Not very different from the NES run. I used a Rush Jet at the start of the boss fight because you can't reach the hitblox with a normal jump.

The way i did the spikes part was faster, taking a big refill at the start of the screen and not on the final part because the platform is too high and there is a long distance to climb the ladder from there.

Just an autoscroller, i figured out how to kill the boss earlier and it was faster than waiting for him to be in the middle on X position.

The last zip i did through the wall was faster than doing a zip with the very last Skull enemy (like the NES run) by a few frames.

I figured out how to defeat the boss with just 2 pauses (my previous fight was using 4 pauses like the NES run) with only Pharaoh Shot and the charged Buster, i pause the game to save the charged shot for the final hit and be able to kill him before he hides, this can't be done switching weapons with L and R because the charged shot will dissapear and it will not be saved when you change to buster again.

I had many Balloon routes in this stage but this ended to be the fastest way, i thought on doing a Balloon on the first part of the stage sliding on the very first platform but ended up being very few frames faster, using that Balloon on the other places was faster.

Boss Refights skip.

Rush Jet zip, faster than sliding normally. I tried a zip through the wall but it was slower by 1-2 frames. Input ends early, that's why it takes an extra pattern on Wily Capsule but it doesn't affect the final time.
