ActRaiser (1990) is a critically acclaimed SNES game which combines two major gameplay phases: a god simulator and an action platformer. You play the role of God "the Master", who awakens from his slumber only to find that the human civilization is completely wrecked, and hordes of demons are roaming free. The Master has three roles: to open new locations for humans to inhabit, to deal with the catastrophes happening there, which usually have something to do with grotesque monsters, as represented in side-scrolling action stages, and to help develop human civilization anew by controlling it during the overhead phases through a bow-wielding cupid who also repels mischievous demons, as presented in the form of an overhead simulation.
This is an improvement of 14:11.48 over the original run of this game from 2004.

Commentary from the authors is available as subtitles in the MKV and YouTube video, or through this script if watching in the emulator.

This run plays through the "Special Mode," which is a mode where the god simulators are removed and the levels become harder. The Japanese version is used for even higher difficulty.
