- Uses Snes9x v1.43.
Here is a run of one of my favorite Spiderman games, which unusually, given the series' popularity in the west, was only released in Japan. This Spidey game is particularly interesting from a TAS perspective due to the wealth of techniques at the players' disposal.

Walking | 256 512 | varies on alternate frames. Seldom used |
Running | 1024 | Used over very short distances |

Attack | Damage Dealt | Comments |
---|---|---|
Punch | 5HP x 2 8HP x 1 10HP x 1 | Most used against bosses. Using full combo pushes the boss out of optimal position. If when A is pressed for the third time an idle frame is left followed by another A the full combo is cancelled and a third 5HP punch is delivered instead. This does less damage but keeps the boss in the optimal position and stops him attacking |
Web Shot | 2HP | Seldom used. Sometimes used to clear a weak enemy if it is in optimal swinging path |
Dash | 6HP | Almost useless. Takes both Spidey and the boss out of optimal position. Used for flare if the opportunity presents itself. |
Downward Kick | 6HP | Useful for attacking airborne bosses. Useful in normal play for optimally gripping the edge of a platform. |
Uppercut | 10HP | Does highest damage. Slow to execute so punching trick often used instead. Useful for low flying bosses. Useful for a finishing blow. |

FractalFusion: Accepting this movie ASAP. It's another one of those grappling wire games, and it looks cool.
