Hi, this is my first TAS and also my first submission. The game is WarioWare: Touched! by Nintendo.

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: DeSmuME-0.9.7
  • Genre: minigame compilation
  • Restarts game to save time
  • Manipulates luck

Comments

Restarting the game

The cutscenes in this game are not skipable while playing the game the first time, but by reseting in the right moment, the game thinks I already watches this cutscene and allows me to skip it after reseting.

Luck manipulation

The only time I used luck manipulation is in the end to get the credits out of the ufo.
I hope thats enough, I'm not good in describing stuff. :/

DarkKobold: Mini-game-based games are generally like sports titles, unless something absolutely amazing happens, they won't make for a very entertaining or impressive TAS. Games like Brain Age are the exception more than the rule. Even though you did well, this is pretty much considered a bad game choice. If you'd like help picking a better game, please talk to us in the forums!

adelikat Unrejecting this submission for consideration into the Vault tier

Noxxa: Judging in consideration of the vault.
Noxxa: WarioWare does not lend itself to speedrun records. All regular microgames go on a fixed timer and are therefore always the same speed. The boss games are always either also time-independent or simple and trivial to do, and are also in a significant minority compared to the other microgames. Because of these factors, I don't consider this speedrun as standing out from unassisted play of the game, which goes against the Vault standards. Therefore, rejecting.
