Cheesy is a platforming game that was developed by British studio CTA Developments and was published by Ocean Software and Jaleco. It was only released in Europe and Japan and was never released in North America. It follows an anthropomorphic mouse named Cheesy, who finds himself imprisoned by a mad scientist named Doctor Chem. He soon gets unintentionally freed by an alien named Ailen and sets off to escape from the strange place that is Doctor Chem's dark castle. The gameplay is mostly centered around 2.5D platforming with some autoracing segments such as minecart and UFO rides.
In this run, R7CrazyCanucks plays the Japanese version of the game and helps guide Cheesy to a fate where he's surrounded by mousetraps as fast as possible thanks to a glitch that makes Cheesy unable to die for the rest of the game and some sequence breaking.
