Pit-Fighter is a fighting game that was developed by Atari Games for the arcades and was later ported over to the Sega Genesis and SNES. It was the second video game to use digitalized sprites after another arcade fighting game called Reikai Doushi: Chinese Exorcist, predating Mortal Kombat by two years. Appearing to take inspiration from movies like Bloodsport, the game revolves around an underground fighting tournament where various fighters compete against each other for high cash prizes. Players can choose from three different characters to fight with, each with their own moves and strengths. While fighting in the arena, weapons are occasionally thrown in to up the ante.
In this run, CoolHandMike chooses the character Ty and makes great use of his incredibly broken elbow attack to stunluck his enemies and defeat all of them in record time. You can read the author's notes for more details on the broken moves used and other quirky mechanics present in the game.
