Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom is a licensed space shooter by Sega that was initially released for the arcades and was later ported to home consoles and computers such as the Commodore 64 and the ColecoVision. It is based on Buck Rogers, a comic strip about a man from the 20th century who gets frozen underground and later wakes up in the 25th century, where he becomes a interstellar hero. In this game, you play as Buck Rogers as he pilots his spaceship and flies through space and various planets to dogfight with hostile enemies. Levels include an enormous trench, a space portal of sorts, and the surface of a mountainous planet.
