This submission for Skate or Die! is an improvement over the previous publication, found here: #6541: simillarian's NES Skate or Die! in 02:19.37
Compared to the current publication I was able to save 10 frames building off of what Simillarian had already done:
4 frames in the high jump using a more optimal speed/jump height. 6 frames in the Jam
There are multiple ways to pull off the joust manip on Pete, but they all ended up being identical in time. At this point I think the only theoretical frames remaining would be finding something I missed in the Jam.

Memory: I can't believe I actually forgot to check for blank input frames on the previous publication, which is why this appears to be an 88 frame improvement as opposed to the 10 frames advertised by the submission text. Otherwise this is a solid improvement over the last run. Accepting to obsolete  NES Skate or Die! by simillarian in 02:19.37.
