Compared to the current publication I was able to save 10 frames building off of what Simillarian had already done:
4 frames in the high jump using a more optimal speed/jump height.
6 frames in the Jam
There are multiple ways to pull off the joust manip on Pete, but they all ended up being identical in time. At this point I think the only theoretical frames remaining would be finding something I missed in the Jam.
Memory: I can't believe I actually forgot to check for blank input frames on the previous publication, which is why this appears to be an 88 frame improvement as opposed to the 10 frames advertised by the submission text. Otherwise this is a solid improvement over the last run. Accepting to obsolete NES Skate or Die! by simillarian in 02:19.37.

But this run is 8288 frames whereas the old was 8376. Where did the other 78 frames come from? Emulation differences?
EDIT: ...Wow none of us ever trimmed the previous skate or die run of blank input. I am smart.
