Introduction

This movie improves 182 frames off [984] NES Arkanoid "warps, demo glitch" by Baxter in 04:26.28, which was published.. 16 YEARS AGO!
Explanation:
Movie Frame | Frames # | Explanation
(0) | 1 | Emulation Difference [This does not count as improvement]
(974) | 2 | Earlier skip
(4570) | 1 | Faster Death
(8641) | 1 | Faster Round 4
(15138) | 108 | Faster Boss Kill
(15819) | 70 | Early input optimization
Total: 182
For some reason, and despite being extremely well done, the previous movie did not care much for optimizing the boss or limiting the last movie input. But who knows how the rules regarding movie length were handled back then. I also do not understand why the authors did not notice the 2 easy frames to be obtained by pressing START two frames early. The early death and faster round 4 frames are the most valuable, as they took some heavy optimizing.

Accepting over [984] NES Arkanoid "warps, demo glitch" by Baxter in 04:26.28 to "Standard" for publication.

Spikestuff: Processing...

nymx: eien86 found 13 more frames. New file sync and has bee uploaded.
feos: In cases when the rerecord count is unknown, or is mostly botted, we used to set it to 0 so the site parser shows it as "unknown", and it looks like it doesn't have this logic anymore. But for publishers 0 rerecords would still mean "unknown" should go to encode subtitles.
