Submission Comments

Introduction:

  • "Arise" is an Adobe Flash horror escape room developed by Tomylee Inc. that includes cheesy jumpscares. Similar to "Soul Escape". There are 4 games in this series which will get submitted eventually. Likely, after my April fools submissions. I have 3 movies in plan. :)

Objectives:

  • Finish as fast as possible
  • Don't blink. The IGT of this movie is 4-5 seconds.
  • Mouse playaround
  • "M" is for "Memory" :)

Routing:

  • Trivial escape room shenanigans. I try to get the finger and the remote last and then escape the room.

Casual Walkthrough:

Other Notes:

  • Rare YouTube 48fps encode
  • Special thanks goes to Memory for judging and making this serIes happen! :D

Memory: This is not a joke, this is not a TAS. I put Arise in this emulator to TAS it.
OK so since I got called out as judge in the submission comments it'd be funny if I didn't claim it right?
Well I am claiming it.
Memory: I would have judged this sooner but I caught this horrible illness called "flu" that made me write "DIE" in a drawer in blood.
OK no I didn't catch anything, I just ended up procrastinating a bit.
So anyways uh my one complaint is that I cannot parse anything out of the mouse playaround. My advice for future tases is to intentionally slow down the mouse a bit. It's easy to go a little too fast with tas and you need to rewatch to see how it looks. Otherwise, optimization looks optimal.
Accepting.
