I've watched like two so far and really I'm not laughing. He keeps whining how there are secrets and tricks in McKids that little kids could never figure out even though they're not all that hard. Besides, that's the fun in the game: you have to play through it many times to fully know it. My point: It'd be funny if the points he raises about the games were actually valid and smart, but he fails miserably by whining and bitching about stuff that's actually not so bad.

I only laughed when the pickle ignored him and only said "pickle pickle", but i hate to admit i laughed at that thing at some point. These videos shouldn't exist.

Watched the castlevania2 review video so far. His voice and style of speech is not the best possible, and he uses a lot of profanity, but still, somehow, he succeeded in making the commentary interesting. I watched the whole 10 minutes of it and found it interesting (regardless of whether it's just "whining" or valid points). Thumbs up from me.

Much of the humor is derived from his excessive over-use of profanity and the guzzling of beer. I think the people who don't like these videos might be taking them too seriously. The Friday the 13th is the best one. Top Gun is also a favorite. Actually, they're all good, except for "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", which is just awful.

It was funny. Kinda. I guess. The idea is funny, but the whole thing is poorly executed. You can see him reading something at the end of the TMNT video, so you'd think it would sound more like Duckman quality ranting rather than silly crap that came off the top of his head. "Mantra-chanting, incense-breathing, herb-sucking yahoos..." Profanity lacks that kind of pointedness. If he's going to eviscerate the game, he should attack where it hurts, rather than try to conjure up some mildly disgusting imagery. I voted meh.

Meh. The Angry Nintendo Nerd had a good idea, but his execution sucks. He clearly believes these videos are entertaining - they are not a "joke". If it were a joke, he wouldn't continue making more and more with the same approach.

He's at his best when he's actually pointing stuff about games that does indeed suck, even if it's subtle - Castlevania 2's oak stake, or TMNT's "walk across the jump" bring back fond(?) memories of my own frustration of early games. He's at his worst when he just rattles off obsenities and "I'd rather (blah blah) than play this game". Profantiy can be hilarious, but it has to be used intelligently and vary widely. His just gets monotonous.

I don't know if you can speed up the gameplay much at all, but I wouldn't mind watching a run just so I could see the whole game without the stress of playing.

Guess: His submissions were removed in retaliation for DDOS attacks. I found myself agreeing a lot of the Angry Gamer, especially - landing in Top Gun (I've only done it once) - both those jumps in TMNT - overall worthlessness of Castlevania 2 - finding the door in Elm Street I didn't watch the others since I haven't played those games very much. The swearing and beerdrinking didn't add much.
