I agree with you, that's so expensive.

I guess it is kinda expensive (especially if you have it shipped to a country in a galaxy far far away), but I'm seriously thinking about getting two of those SNES controllers, they would rock soooooo much. You get what you pay for, right? But they only take Pay-Pal so I'm kinda afraid to do it. You do know if you get unlucky, Pay-Pal can swallow you money, right? Of course, I do not even have a credit card so that could be a problem, though I could borrow someone's and just pay them the money... If someone buys one of these, please post here and tell us how they work or if you got screwed over, etc.

They claim that these work for MacOSX but I really don't believe them... Is there even an e-mail on that website so I can ask someone? Because I will totally get 2 SNES controllers.

Does Mac OSX support USB gamepads? If it does, I see no reason why these would be any different. Of course, I know absolutely nothing about any Mac OS so if this post was incredibly stupid, please ignore it...

I bought the Genesis 6-button adaptor. It's worked perfectly for me (except that the mode button doesn't work, but I've never used that button ever, so no big deal). It is a bit expensive, but I think it was worth it.

Check out the 4-player adapter... costs 50 bucks but if i understand correctly it does the job of any of those controllers - you can plug in any controller and use it, without any USB adaptation in the controller itself. I might actually get that thing, despite its high cost. Not only would it be good for playing NES games, but imagine playing all sorts of games with friends, emulating arcade games and all having your own controller, it would be pretty incredible. I imagine they work fine with OSX too.

I have tried using gamepads (USB) on my mac before, and it simple wouldn't register them. As if they wheren't plugged in. None of the buttons worked or anything. I had to download a third party program, and even though only worked with very few controllers. But they claim it's simpy plug and play... I think it's just too good to be true.

Saw these modded on "Metku mods" some guy in there gave a ling to a page wich shows how to mod a controller to your computer by using the LTP port. It had drivers and instructions too!

Ok seriously, this site has no e-mail or contact information. Does that seem sketchy to anyone but me? Has anyone tried to order anything yet?

Well I went through retrozone's update history and one of the things there was a review of the NES controller by a mac magazine. Well since I own a mac I was all over it. They interviewed the creator and everything. He seems like a real nice guy, and 4 other people commented on the review saying the controller works great. He got a 5/5. So i went ahead and purchase 2 SNES controllers. I am supposed to get them thursday or friday. I read the FAQ and he says for SNES he doesn't use originals, he uses brand new third party replicas, but the one pictured seems like a good one so I am not worried. I will keep you guys informed about how it's going.

Well they finally game! So this guy isn't as scam artist. They are third party SNES controllers, but they look and feel the same. The work perfectly on all my emulators. It took 6 days from order to receive. I LOVE THEM

You know, for the price of 2 SNES controllers......... you could get the 4-player adapter and use your regular SNES controllers!!!!! Thats what i'm going to do absolutely.

Hmm, I guess that's one way to do it. I prefer the no-extra-stuff vanilla USB controller though. Much less hassle and it makes it possible to use both controllers seperately. It's better for 4-player though (not that I know of any 4-player game except Bomberman).

yeah I looked at those as well, but for some reason I would rather have had the 2 controllers... Also I don't own any SNES controllers, so I would have had to buy the adapter for 50, and then 2 SNES controllers. But if you already got them, then yeah do it.

Well, FINALLY they came. IT SURE TOOK SOME TIME! Holy shit. Well, one of them works like a charm with no problems whatsoever, but the other one is a little quirky. The D-pad 'works' but you have to press harder than you'd think to press the 'right' direction on it. So either the control board inside the controller is damaged (doubtful) or it wasn't properly screwed together. Well, it was properly screwed together but it's just so hard to put it in place so that it works absolutely perfect. D-pads are a very delecate thing. Anyway I managed to fix it myself and it is now pretty good though it is still a little tiny bit stiff. But it's OK, it's still lightyears ahead of using a keyboard and I'm not going to send one back (it would be the biggest hassle ever and would end up costing at least the controller in shipping fees and toll). Overall, this was VERY expensive but I think it was worth it. After all, it's only money. There's simply nothing that can beat playing Super Mario World and other games again with a real SNES controller.

USB Controllers are supported by OS X or at least snes9x for OS X because that is what I have been using and it works great. Also these are expensive, I'm sure there is a cheaper alternative that lets you still use the real snes controller.

I'll see if I can find out what it does. But not right now. Maybe in an hour.
