Most of the good videos on this site comes from two or more people competing in a game. It drops seconds and even minutes pretty fast. Some videos haven't been challanged even once, probably a lot of those has something that can be improved.

Well I don't. My seed is currently uploading aladdin-timeattackv2-milquetoast.avi at average 3.5 kB/s rate. (It is also uploading a couple of other files - they sum to average 12 kB/s.) When I am the only one who possesses the complete file (the only seed), your maximum rate is limited to my rate. You might get individual pieces at 1 MB/s from other peers, but the average rate for everyone is limited to mine until there are more peers with the complete file.

Sorry to bump an old thread. I was wondering: does anyone know if there are 2 oe 3 different endings? I tried googling for an answer. One FAQ on GameFAQs said you get a different ending with 51-59 red emeralds. Another site (I think GameSpot) said the different ending requires 70 red emeralds. Is the ending different if you get all of them, compared to if you get most of them?

ive heard of it; doesnt it just change the clouds or something during the end sequence carpet ride? hmm, suppose sort of according to the lone GF faq:

Endings

Collect the red emeralds to get a different ending when the credits scroll.  
51-59 emeralds results in the credits being shown while Aladdin goes through 
each level instead of the usual carpet ride credits.  There may be more but I 
haven't confirmed it yet.

i never got them personally because i could care less... and i could care less for a TAS of that as well.

I've collected all the emeralds many times but I've never seen an ending like the one /*- described. In my experience the ending is always the same.

i want to submit a very short movie recorded in the middle of a snes aladdin run i did. It is a stoopd glitch that slowed me down a bit. it creates a invisible wall in front of me when i jump without waiting one frame before jumping again. I dont know if it would be accepted because it is not recorded from the start and its about 14 sec long but i just wanted someone to see this. is there a section for these types of movies here??

Thread Bumper! Thread, Thread Bumper!!! :P OoK!!! After almost a year of abstinance, i'm back and ready to do some TAS :D !! Since i'm like, probably, most you guys, a freakin perfectionnist. I'm giving Al another chance ;P I wont be able to put as many hours, as i use too, since i'm buzy like a mother, but i still want to beat the thing. I wish i had the knowledge to figure out how i could get Aladdins ass from one side of the wall to the other (like mario or Rockman). Is there a way, to do that, in every game? This time, my goal will be a little different. Instead of avoiding almost everything, to save time, i will try to grab as much as possible. That does not mean taking long detours to grab useless crap. I'll take whatever is in my way and things that will help along the run, like hearts and maybe some turkeys. Any ways! The reasons i'm posting this is to ask if any of you guys are interessted in doing a coop... .. . I'm the author of the leading run so i know pretty much how the game goes. What i need is someone who knows his way around glitches or features as some would say :) I have a couple ideas on how to shave time in this try and would gladly share them with someone who cares :P
