Post subject: Mupen64 and Mariokart 64

I download Mupen64 because i wanna record some Vid´s, but i can just start the game, but it doesnt show anything, if i start a race. I just hear driving sound etc. (I used Project64 before and it worked well, but i wanna record - same rom!) Eiskalt

Welcome to the forums Eiskalt-Ger. It sounds like a graphics plugin problem. Try using different ones for different results. That's just my guess.

Hi :-) Thank you for trying helping me, but i dont know where i could get other graphic plugins, i tried the 3 which was allready included.

Try using a different version of the ROM. Mupen tends to have more graphics issues than PJ64.

All ROMs are more or less the same it just depends on how good the dump is. You just have to search around until you find your perfect companion...

Yeah but i thought maybe somebody have good version + good plugin for MK64 so i dont have to search hour for hour...

Find and download a program called GoodN64. That might help.
