One With Most Extraordinary Emoticons goes to Vidar/meepers. No one can tell what the hell they are. Example:

A better way to measure different countries' TASness is TASers per million capita (TPMC). Assuming that theenglishman's numbers are correct (which I made no effort whatsoever of verifying), the numbers would be: Finland: 6.825 Sweden: 5.932 Canada: 1.839 USA: 0.523

Phil's eggs has run its joke course, and now serves as a way for me to lock threads without being an administrator :) Also it's neat to know that for every TASer in my country, there are 1.912.045 other losers that I'm cooler than. Do the dance y'all \o\ /o/

So "most overused in-joke" should have read something else I guess?

What about the platinum ghetto dumptrucks? Same line of thought, except more "in" than Fabian ever will be.

I'm more in than you! In my opinion, everyone named Fabian is a platinum ghetto dumptruck, so it all works out either way.

That's fine. Either way Fabian would take home that award, since it was definitely more used (or overused) than the dumptruck.

True. However, Most "In" In-Joke goes to "Platinum Ghetto Dumptrucks," so there! That, or .hg or .pk

Truncated, let me explain how I did my research for the Oh, [insert country name here]! Award: 1. I pulled up the memberlist from the forum. 2. Sorted each member by location (descending, because of 30-odd locationless members). 3. I pulled up a table and set out to manually sort each member by country (for those who only put a city I never heard of I had to do some extra research). 4. Sorted the table by Column 2 (number of members in each country). 5. Voila! NOTE: These numbers are most likely inaccurate, since I only included people who actually put their location in their profile. But I'm happy with what I have now. If anyone's interested here's the numbers I came up with: (sorry for the poor formatting) USA 156 Canada 60 Sweden 54 Finland 36 Germany 23 Brazil 17 UK 14 France 12 Australia 8 Holland 8 Japan 8 Chile 4 China 4 Norway 4 Russia 4 Argentina 3 Denmark 3 Spain 3 Ireland 2 Mexico 2 Singapore 2 Switzlnd. 2 Taiwan 2 Croatia 1 Hong Kong 1 Iceland 1 Israel 1 Italy 1 Lxmbrg. 1 Morocco 1 New Zlnd. 1 Peru 1 Poland 1 Puerto Rico 1 Scotland 1 S. Korea 1 Venezuela 1 I also have a suggestion/warning to give for people on this forum: I intended this topic to have awards handed out to actual runs or authors for their work with TAS's. While the occasional forum award is suggested, I want to stress that TAS's and authors should get the majority of the awards handed out here. On another note, some more awards need to be handed out (mostly finalized but one still for the taking): The Stop Right Now! (Thank You Very Much) Award: Cleverest place to end a movie FractalFusion's "4 CPU's" Monopoly I actually had a really, really hard time deciding this one. It was either going to be this one or two others which are listed in the honourable mentions. FractalFusion somehow manages to luck manipulate the game so that the last required input is over a minute before the last CPU goes bankcrupt. An amazing piece of manipulation. Honourable Mentions: nitsuja's Sonic Advance run, pirate_sephiroth's Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Maxim run. The Fastest Finger Award: craziest frame-perfect input in a TAS FODA's Pit Fighter Well, what can I say about this run? The first time I saw this run I was told that my reaction was like that of a deer staring at a pair of headlights. I had to watch it TWICE to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. I then burst out loud and screamed the longest string of profanity in recent memory (I normally don't swear, OK? So fuck off! XD). It really needs to be seen to be believed. Honourable Mentions: adelikat's Gradius run, JXQ's Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance normal run. (NOTE TO THE SKEPTICAL: I decided not to give this award to the infamous Gradius run because as crazy as the show-offy reflexes are, they add nothing to the actual speed of completing the run, while the winner does.) The Tools Make the Run Award: most revolutionary tool ever invented for TAS production This one's still up for grabs, and I'm turning it over to the forum (for once) to decide the winner! My nominations are for BisqBot, frame advance or TASedit. Please discuss my choices and potential winners of the Tools Make the Run Award. Maybe we'll steer this topic back to how it was intended to be...

blip wins this award hands down: he has made so many things for us that it is sickening to think of what life would be like without him. We miss you blip!

Zurreco, these are for TOOLS or CREATIONS, not players. I'll be happy to make a "Most Influential Author" Award after the current one's winner is finalized.
