There is a chance to get on the platform without taking damage. You just have to jump exactly on the middle of that block.
Magish's way doesn't require damage taking, but is somewhat harder to execute. You can also jump on the spikes, take damage (you can survive to get damaged one time), and then do a mid-air morph IBJ.

It is possible to get this Missile, maybe just not the way you try. :-)
I think there are places where it's unavoidable to fall into sand. Just don't let yourself sink into it too much. Simply move forward and spinjump immediately after contacting the sand at the very top of it. That way you can jump out of it on the platform as seen in the pic. It's even possible to get out of the sand after sinking completely down, though for some reason this only works in this, and the room to the right of it. In any other case you get stuck once you touch the ground in such sand pits.
Haha, I didn't plan to, but it gave me very good ideas for a hard hack! :-P
iam trying to record a small smv of this "hack" and now i question my self , is it possible to escape torizo with the spikes inside? any ideas?
i've tried many angles and different ways to pick up the bomb and touch the spikes fast enough but i can't get it fast enough.. maybe anyone has a solution(if its possible)
That would seem to imply that either one of the other items in the game grants you the ability to destroy crumble blocks from the side, or collecting the item requires exploiting a bug in the game to pass through walls - I used the X-ray scope around that area, and there are no other paths to that missile pack.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another
question: in the first super missile room, is there any other way to escape than bomb jumping up through the ceiling?
edit: nevermind; i assume the answer is yes, but it's not quite as hard as it looked.
Okay I decided to give this another shot but I'm immediately stuck. I just got PBs and I think I have to go to botwoon, but where the hell is he? I've been wandering around Maridia for hours. I haven't seen anyone get stuck at this point so there's probably something blatantly obvious and embarrassing I have missed.
EDIT: Nevermind, I finally made the jump and got to Botwoon.
I dont get it, this is insanelly insane! How am i supposed to do this? PB every inch of the map? Even doing so would probably result to nothing. How can i find these invisible blocks if i cant see them? THIS IS FREAKIN CRAZY!!!... i like it.
Btw, is it me or the final boss deals like 10 times more damage than usual?
i am having hard time getting high jump boots, i killed every one, then i went in got those 2 e tanks, and killed the lone enemy there, but still grey door cant get in to get hi jump boots, any hints?[/img]
First a happy new year to all!
You also got the Space Jump before Phantoon??? This gets really really strange... >:-(
PLEASE explain how you could get past the grey door in this room after you grabbed it without killing this 4 beetoms which should be te only way to make this door possible to open. I'm very confused after hearing the same about the Space Jump sequence break from the 2nd person already...Kill Crocomire.
saturn: to clarify, i did NOT find that sekwence break; i merely found them, but could not get out without using patches to freeze my energy and super missile count.
p.jboy: in that case, where is the other set? and since they seem to take 200 energy at time (800 in all), how do you kill them without them latching on to you?
