(Hint: Click to download) Load in your favorite NES emulator, sit back, grab some popcorn, and wonder what the holy hell is going on. 15 minutes, not made by me. (This ROM was released as public (with source!). The only real copyrighted information in it is the graphics... eh. There is more information available, but it isn't much)

Do some research into the source (find one of the more recent ZIPs of it, for example). What's even more interesting is what got removed!

That was just an anti-drugs campaign. An example of what can happen if you take too many '1-up' mushrooms.

Couldn't think of a witty reply, so pick one: A) I want my 15 minutes back. B) Somebody upload this to YouTube. Now. C) I call dibs on TASing this game. I wonder if it would be an accepted hack.

Uh, was it just me who thought it was incredibly repetitive?

Much of the "movie" was indistinguishable from emulation errors, so I have no idea what was and wasn't supposed to be there. Did anyone else have garbled text during the exposition/poetry?

That was very profound. It all came together when it was dancingdancingdancing and the pong.

A TAS of this would be easy, since you just need to hit right a few times.

That amused me greatly. And I now know what it's like to be on acid without having actually done it. And yes, someone needs to upload this to YouTube. Now.

Everything you see is intentional.

For some reason, I was fascinated by that. For some other reason, this reminded me of this site. (Warning: extremely heavy page, it could kill some computers)

I waited for what seemed like forever and then some for anything to happen, then I started fast forwarding, only stopping to read text. I got through it in about a minute after that, but it didn't leave any lasting positive impression on me.

Well, I don't think you're supposed to fast-forward through it. :D Although, I admit I fast-forwarded at the beginning when Mario was just standing on a block, not doing anything for a long time.

FSD? Flying spaghetti demon. Duh. (Or, look at the home row on your keyboard.) Was it my imagination, or was that 1UP#* thing with the goomba an allusion to the river Styx? Senility, then death, then... dancing? Nevermind.

at first I thought that a movie about what happens to mario during ROM deterioration would be fun, But this was very poorly executed, and the "corrupt data" segments stretched on way, way, way too long It's a 15 minute movie, with about 2 minutes of actual content, less if you read fast.

I have to admit that this movie had some pretty good music.
